Last year Kyrie has a lot to do with that
That and they are the 2nd Sons.

No shade.

I root for a 2nd Son myself.

Shit, actually... Clippers are behind the Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Galaxy, Sparks.

Raiders moved to Vegas and they are still more beloved in LA.

Doesn't matter if the Lakers and Knicks are dogshit.

The hierarchy is what it is.

Just to be fair, James and AD have little room to smirk because they did a lot of clanking shots amongst themselves along with the rest of the Lakers against the Trail Blazers and including the previous 2 games. Los Angeles finished 6 for 33 on 3-pointers against Portland, falling to 25 for 118 (21.2%) this season.

That is a pathetic statistic. Ham has the Lakers playing great D but when they have players shooting that percentage rate in just three games, then there is some serious issues going on.

That's the problem in a nutshell though....the kids that could hit some 3s (Swider and Ryan) are big defensive holes at least to this point.

Christie 100% (1 attempt)
Ryan 40% (2-5)
Reaves 28.6% (2-7)
Lebron 25.9% (7-27)
and on down

I just need Charlotte to not be dumb and trade them rozier

Hayward
Washington
Oubre
Is all they need.

Turn oubre and nunn into joe Harris and now you off to the races
Why in gods name would the Nets do this?

They already have midget guards in Curry and Mills.

The rest?

Sure.

Instead of Harris, maybe McDermott or Josh Richardson?

sure, same idea.

Mostly for the nets to get out of he second year of the deal for Harris.

Mostly just a tax saving scheme

But then they're probably committed to paying curry (who is somehow older than Harris....I didn't know that until recently) and going with Cam Thomas.

In sum, ass-clown Westbrook has decided to be heads and shoulders above everyone else on the Lakers roster in just plain stupid shit and colossally insane shooting. He wins that designation hands-down!

The Lakers problem isn't even necessarily that they don't shoot 3's well. The team that won the title wasn't what you'd call a good 3 point shooting team. They were better than this one, but they sure as heck weren't reminding anyone of the Warriors either.

I think Reggie Miller nailed it the other night when he said the biggest problem is that they don't hit "timely 3's". That was something that title team did well. It seemed like any time they needed a 3 to end an opponent's run, or continue one of their own, they got it.

This team doesn't have that. They did a bit in the 3rd quarter yesterday which was why they went into the 4th quarter with the lead. But went back to missing them in the 4th.

Also, as I mentioned yesterday, as this roster is constructed, even when their 3 point shooting eventually improves, it's not going to be by enough to justify 40+ per game.

I know the season just started but BS is only averaging four shots a game. What are the chances he averages more rebs & asts than pts this season?
80%.

If he averages more than 12 ppg, I'd be shocked.

I expect Durant, Kyrie, Harris, Oneale, Claxton, Curry and probably TV Warren to average more points than Ben.

He's there to pass and defend.

Any points are a bonus.

yes, because you traded Danny Green AND a first for Schroeder.

Yep.

KCP is doing exactly that in Denver.

Perfect 3 and D player to pair with Murray.

Richardson has been mentioned recently, as well as Rozier and perhaps re-igniting discussions with the Jazz (Conley, Clarkson, Gay).

Yep i expect him to be around 10 PPG,8 RPG, and 6-7 APG.

And this is perfectly fine assuming he is defending well.

Ben is who he is at this point. He's never going to be a 25 ppg scorer and that is cool

All those work.

But, you cannot give up both picks for that Jazz combo alone.

They are gonna say no.

But, I'd ask for Lauri.

Look, AD is the 5 if he likes it or not.

Give up Nunn, Westbrook and both picks...

Throw in some 2nds if you have to.

.....and I just saved your season....lol

Uber passing PJ Tucker.

The numbers don't really matter.

Gotta convince the clueless Lakers brass to take on 2 and 3 year deals. May be a non-starter (shakes head)

Yeah....makes no sense.

That would theoretically give you a 21 game bump.

Plus, there isn't anyone in the free agency class worth waiting for.

Rob is going to be left holding his dick because he's waiting around for some mythical trade that may never come.

Oh holy crap. Zion's exciting to watch when he can play. I fear he's gonna be a walking injury waiting to happen his entire career.
The Pels got some good news for now at least.....
