He did the intentional miss and got it to a guy point blank 3 feet away and he missed the layup
Which was predicated on him missing the 1st FT.......but still.
Blazers were fortunate that "strategery" didn't work out for the Suns...and it damn near did.

I’m hoping they are already looking for a Casey replacement. He’s almost as overrated as Doc. For his specialty being player development Cade and Bey look like they’ve back slid and Hayes still looks pretty much the same. They have a ton of young talent, don’t let it go to waste only to see players thrive elsewhere when they leave.

Agree that Casey should be on hot seat. We will see. But that 2nd unit today was atrocious and it stems from not having shooting. Diallo also got to the line at will but could not make a damn FT. But Knox is just useless. He isn't even mediocre at anything. He sucks at everything. Minus 22 in 11 minutes. I mean holy shit.

I'm hoping Tatum finally found his inner kawhi efficiency.

Tatum is usually a 57% TS guy for his career but so far he's at 65% TS and 32PPG, amazing start. Robbed of MVP last season, lets see this year. Jaylen has also seemed to make another jump, so that could hurt GOATUM's chances.

To prop up my guy kawhi Leonard. I've been telling people last few years that he has peaked as the greatest offensive player of all time. Unstoppable mid range, great passer and good three point shooter. No weaknesses on offense. I'm just going by my eye test, I don't look into all these geek stats like rapm and such (only bball ref).

A poster had great evidence to back up my claims:

Kawhi is #1 in 19-22 RAPM and tied #1 in DRIP (multi-year metric that is forward looking in projecting performance).

He is #1 in O-RAPM for Jeremias Englemann's 21-22 Age-Adjusted RAPM

The 16 Warriors with Klay, Steph & draymond on the floor together:

• 120.3 ORTG (+13.9 rORTG)
• 19.9 Net Rating

The 21 Clippers with Kawhi, PG & Reggie on the floor together:

• 130.5 ORTG (+18.2 rORTG)
• 24.4 Net Rating

21 Clippers offensive ratings with kawhi and PG

Paul George and Kawhi: 125 OffRtg
Kawhi without PG: 120 OffRtg
PG without Kawhi: 114 OffRtg

George and brown are fringe top 15-20 player running mates, I don't see that as stacked at all. It's not like Kobe Shaq, curry Durant type duos. Not even close.

Of course it isn’t

The depth goes well beyond the top 2 on both rosters. That is the strength of the team.

You pretended that Tatum was a GOAT level superstar carrying a bunch of nobodies. He wasn’t close to that.

And if the Clippers do win a title this year, it will be for the same reason Boston almost did. Balance and depth around a franchise level star. Not a 1 man show.

OMG.

Stop it man.

For his career Kawhi averages 19.2 PPG and 2.9 assists.

Greatest offensive player of all time? GTFO

There are many better offensively in his current era.

You are way too much man.

Greatest offensive player of all time though!

And that doesn’t even begin to touch the MVP winners who don’t defend well.

Curry, Nash, Jokic

So many great offensive players out there.

Well, there isn’t much competition there. You could walk on the Knicks and be the greatest point guard since?

He is looking good, but the Knicks have also had an OT game and the the Pistons to pad those stats. Let’s see how they look after a larger sample size.

I agree with that....though you were thinking preseason mattered if it helped make your point.
I guess it depends upon the point being made doesn’t it? I was talking about a player we hadn’t seen in months looking like he was making a step forward. He’s making a declaration about the bench being trash. Very different kind of statements.

What time do the Indians play tonight?
