You know their roster is bad when Walker takes 21 shots. An older Lebron and AD, an injury prone player. Russ is nothing more than a decent role player making 40+M a year. Other thsn Pat Bev and JTA the rest of the roster is unplayable for most rosters.
For example: Ryan, Reeves, Jones and Nunn would not be playing in Cleveland and they aren’t even a top team in the Easy. That LA roster has been so bad the last couple years. That FO is a shitshow

Lakers should have tried to also get Damian Lee on their roster. They could use his shooting right about now.

Clippers had 21 turnovers.

The vast majority were caused by the Lakers defense.

People , not here, keep saying the Lakers only lost by 6 and would have won the game if just 3 of those missed treys dropped.

Well, lets look at it from a different perspective.

Clippers only shot 30% from 3.

That is way below their average.

But, again....Lakers defense played a hand in that as well.

So, here's my point....

The Clippers shot sub 65 % from the free throw line.

Had they made those 11 freebies, this is a blowout.

You need way more than Ryan to pan out.

You need a 3 and D wing with size.and a shooter.

Russ and Bev can get up for a game or two on bigger players.

They can't do it a whole season.

The only way 1 guy changes your fortune is if it's Curry or Giannis.

You are spot Mecca as usual. The Clips had 6 players last night that scored above 10 points. The Lakers had 3. That was the difference in the game.

If the Lakers add 2-3 more above-10 scorers every night, they will see past 35 wins. They are playing way better D as you posted which facilitate that result.

They will not see past 35 wins if only 2 or 3 players do the majority of the scoring and because AD can't stay healthy and James is at the end of his career, those 2 can't carry the team to anything remotely close to the top 7 or even a play-in contender. It just ain't gonna happen.

Westbrook's offense is broken and it's in his head. He's thinking too much and pressing.

Imo, he should focus on defense. His speed, quickness and athleticism are real assets there. His defense on Kawhi late in the game was really good and a big reason the Lakers had a shot at winning the game.

Also, it may help his offense because then he won't be trying to force things on that end.
