The sack on Mac was partly the fault of the play calling.Hunter Henry was going out on a pass play when the left side of the line was overloaded.
Can't put that all on Brown as he had to guess which player to block. Can't block 2 guys!
Play should have been killed when we saw the defense......

Agree. Once they showed the replays I was wondering how the hell does Brown make the right call on who to block.

Obviously Mac is still a young gun but that's a play Brady changes at the line 100% of the time.

Jones underwent X-rays on his back after the Dolphins game, which came back negative. With the belief now that Jones was suffering from back spasms, it's possible that Jones doesn't miss any time. Rapoport reports that there "is a chance Jones plays this week." Jones could be in for a rough day if he plays, facing a defense that forced five turnovers from Joe Burrow and pressured him throughout the day. Pittsburgh will be missing star defender T.J. Watt, however, which could help keep Jones upright if he is able to play.

Fair enough so let me rephrase. Block the guy Mac won't see coming instead of the guy he could see coming. The guy he chose was close enough to the middle of the line there was no chance Mac would not see him...

But of course Brown never saw the far left rusher so it's not like he made an actual choice.
