Here is reality, Dallas has a QB they believe in, Philly doesn't. At no point has the Philly brass shown complete confidence in Hurts by offering a long term deal, they're basically telling him to prove it. They got him all the weapons and supporting cast he could ask for, and if he doesn't get it done they're going to go in a different direction next year. Trust me, there isn't a GM in the NFL that would prefer Hurts over Dak. You can take that to the bank.
They can't offer him a new deal. He's only entering his 3rd year. He isn't eligible for an extension u til next year.
I haven't said teams would take Hurts over Dak, you're arguing over something I've never said. Eagles do have a better roster though and that's a perk that you can get when you have a QB on a rookie deal compared to a QB on one of the largest contracts in the league.
