Are you referencing more than one play in "except when it counted"? I'm repeatedly on record stating he should have been looking left instead of right, but I see that as much as a system flaw as a mistake by WW. He didn't run those patterns often so when he was wide open he looked back at Tom for the ball instead of reading the play. Even then he didn't miss it by much. How many of us ding TB12 for dropping his pass in the SB a few years later? True, WW is a WR and TB isn't, but TB's was a catch 12 year olds routinely make.

I'm referring to four games he was in the SB. Two with the Pats, one with the Broncos, and one as a coach with SF.

The guy is a bad luck charm in Super Bowls.

There are always things going on with the Patriots outside of the team. We tend to concentrate on the team itself. Bob Kraft is spending half of what it cost him to build Gillette in upgrades and improvements. Going to a game will be as much for the experience as it will be to watch another twenty years of a Super Bowl contending team.

Work began in January 2022, although the official groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 11, 2022, exactly 20 years after the stadium opened. The redevelopment is expected to be completed before the start of the 2023 NFL season.

During the works, the facility will remain fully functional, and the capacity of the arena after the reconstruction will remain at its current level. The cost of modernization is expected to amount to $225 million (this amount also includes works on the south stand, carried out in 2021). The main contractor for the works is Suffolk Construction.

New construction beginning in 2022 will create the largest video board for an outdoor stadium, new hospitality and function spaces and a completely reimagined north entrance to the stadium by 2023

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Beginning in early 2022, construction of the most dramatic Gillette Stadium improvements since its opening in 2002 will begin in the north end of the stadium. This project will feature a completely reimagined plaza leading into the stadium, including a new and enhanced lighthouse. Inside the stadium, there will be a prominent new HD video board as well as new and improved concession locations and other fan amenities. In Gillette Stadium’s first 20 years, the Kraft family invested more than $300 million on stadium enhancements. This new project, including the south end zone improvements made last offseason, will total an additional $225 million investment, which reflects the family’s continued commitment to the Gillette Stadium fan experience for the next 20 years. The construction is scheduled for completion prior to the 2023 NFL season.

The transformation of the north end of Gillette Stadium will be defined by 75,000-square feet of glass-enclosed year-round hospitality and function spaces that bridge the gap between the East and West Putnam Clubs, the Dell Technologies Suite Levels and the upper concourse. All levels of the stadium will have 360-degree connectivity, a feature that is currently only available on the main concourse.

In addition, the renovation will include the largest outdoor stadium high-definition video board in the country, measuring 370’ x 60’. The 22,200 square feet of video board space will be nearly double the size of the new south end zone video board. The curved radius HD video board will provide game action, replays, statistics and fantasy football updates.

The architectural bridge and lighthouse have served as the stadium’s signature view. This new development will feature a much bigger, more prominent lighthouse, standing 218-feet high, complete with a 360-degree observation deck at the top, providing sweeping views of the stadium, the game field, Patriot Place and beyond. This one-of-a-kind observation deck will be accessible to fans visiting Gillette Stadium year-round and available for private events.

The fan entrance into the north end of Gillette Stadium will also be revitalized. Plans for this area include relocating the entry gates to create a new fan-activation area upon entry to the lower plaza. A landscaped staircase will lead guests up to the main concourse, where fans will have a view of the field looking toward the south end zone video board and the New England Patriots’ six Super Bowl banners.

After privately financing the construction of Gillette Stadium, the Kraft family has continually re-invested in stadium improvements to keep the fan experience ahead of the ever-evolving sports and entertainment industry trends. Some of the most notable additions in recent years were communal fan gathering spaces, including the Optum Field Lounge, the Encore Terrace and the Cross Insurance Pavilion & Business Center. There have been numerous other enhancements made, including the addition of ribbon boards, video boards, WiFi and innovative concession upgrades. In 2021, the south end of Gillette Stadium underwent significant renovations which incorporated a modern and more streamlined concession area on the main concourse and a new, higher-definition video board that is 70 percent larger than the one it replaced.

If you are an old guy like me, and started going to Foxboro in the 1960s, you can only marvel at whet Bob Kraft has done.

1. Tore down the concrete tomb known as Sullivan Stadium. Quite possibly the worst $6M ever spent.
2. Built Gillette and opened it in 2002 after spending $625M of his own money to buy almost a square mile of garbage land.
3. Built an indoor practice facility at the end of the Gillette practice field.
4. Built Patriots Place and filled it with retail and food places
5. Built one of the most modern hospitals in the world less than 500 yards from the stadium
6. In 2020 opened a casino in Patriots Place.

If you're a true Patriot Fan, you owe it to yourself to visit Gillette. You can spend an entire day at the Patriots Pro Shop, the Patriots Hall of Fame. a walking tour of the stadium and lunch at the CBS Restaurant overlooking the open end of the stadium. Then spend the second day walking around Patriots Place and visiting the casino.

Before we moved to Florida, my wife and I made one last visit to Gillette. Leaving it behind was like having one of my kids moving to another state.

I just don't care for his non patriot way in which he shot his way out of town, for the same money in Denver.

But hey, it's a business.
We won SB's with Danny Playoff instead, and he didn't with 5 head instead.

I view this differently, Coaches, GMs and teams very seldomly offer loyalty to a player. They for the most part set the standard of casting someone aside. I am of the mindset if they can have to approach players should too.

SI's Albert Breer reports the Patriots have "talked with other teams" about trading OT Isaiah Wynn.​

Wynn was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2018 draft and is entering the final year of his deal, one that is set to pay him a $10.413 million salary on his fifth-year option. The Patriots have already made the decision to move Wynn from left tackle to right tackle this offseason, and now he appears to be losing the job to Yodny Cajuste. Wynn wouldn't fetch much more than a late-round pick with his inflated salary. He's made 33 career starts.

My understanding is the Pats offense we pretty horrible in practice yesterday especially in the 2 min drill. I closed the damn link out but looking for it now to post. I did not provide much inspiration, I am starting to think 2 min drill and red zone are potential issues.

It was the opposite.
Terrible to start and good in the 2 minute drill.
