How do the Spurs plan to use their cap space?
Taking on Russell Westbrook in a 3 team trade.
How do the Spurs plan to use their cap space?
On his way to becoming Florida man...
White stuff or blue?
I think you will pivot to Conley.Woj was just on Dan Patrick...
On Kyrie to the Lakers...neither side is in a hurry and don't have to be. Said that the Nets are more focused on KD right now.
He said that Buddy Hield and Eric Gordon are also possibilities.
He added that the Lakers don't need use their picks right now as there will be trade opportunities during the season.
More likely the Lakers would have to take a guy like JRichDamn if the Nets trade KD and take back Poeltl and Richardson. Yikes. I don’t care what picks are involved that might be up there for one of the worst trades in NBA history.
Yep if one future 1st was holding this up or not taking back Harris...the Lakers FO should be fired asapI think you will pivot to Conley.
I paid no mind to the NY Post story .
But, legitimate sources are starting to parrot the story.
Windhost said it's credible, Kyrie wants to stay.
Now its starting to hit print.
This is the chance you take when dealing with a malcontent like Kyrie.
His mood swings are treacherous.
If a deal could have been made, the Lakers should have made it.
The difference in talent was worth giving up the picks....imo
As for Kyrie Irving, Alex Schiffer seconded Brian Lewis’s story that Irving wants back in Brooklyn. I don’t think Irving ever wanted to leave Brooklyn. He’s from New Jersey and grew up a Nets fan when the team was on the other side of the Hudson River. He has his family there. It was only when the organization started playing hardball with him that he decided to look elsewhere. As the market for him has become solely the Lakers, maybe he’s started to realize the grass isn’t always greener across the country.

He is a compiler.
But what was really striking was his on and off stats. The Knicks were a much better team with him on the bench. And it's laughably rare for a 20 point scorer to have a VORP of .2
Westbrook is so bad.Yep if one future 1st was holding this up or not taking back Harris...the Lakers FO should be fired asap
Like you said, Conley for Russ makes a lot more senseWestbrook is so bad.
The team dynamics after all he trade stuff, the Lakers fans trolling, Russ and Bron avoiding each other like one has ebloa.....
It's crazy that they are attempting to play hardball.
You can't bring Westbrook to camp.
Now, if they actually have a good backup deal , all that changes.
I don't think Durant is getting traded.Damn if the Nets trade KD and take back Poeltl and Richardson. Yikes. I don’t care what picks are involved that might be up there for one of the worst trades in NBA history.
Problem is, Danny Ainge.Like you said, Conley for Russ makes a lot more sense
He doesn't equal the 6 draft picks that Utah just asked of the Knicks.Maxey mitigates that. On top of that, Sixers available 1sts for trade match up well. You don’t want a Sixers pick until 2028-29 anyway. By that time Harden (potentially KD) and Embiid will be past their primes and breaking down.
And this is exactly why I thought TOR would be stupid trading Barnes. KD is great but a lot of risk and 34. Plus, the Gobert fucked up everything so BKN could never get a fair compensation. Add in the fact he has preferences and there are little teams that can trade for him. I just don’t see it. Kyrie still a possibility but with only LA interested that also seems very unlikely.I don't think Durant is getting traded.
The Suns didn't even put Bridges in their offer.
That's some cold shit.
Ainge is drunk on power. He doesn't equal the 6 draft picks that Utah just asked of the Knicks.
That suggestion was in place of taking Russ in a Lakers trade, not a KD trade.Damn if the Nets trade KD and take back Poeltl and Richardson. Yikes. I don’t care what picks are involved that might be up there for one of the worst trades in NBA history.
I hate to dignify it, have no idea, but the rumor was he got a little too into the nightlife, and the drugs down there after having some early success as a player.
I think that might already be old news because he seemed like he was pretty focused by the end of last season.
The problem for the Lakers is, why trade Kyrie if you still have Durant? And this is exactly why I thought TOR would be stupid trading Barnes. KD is great but a lot of risk and 34. If I was LA I would offer 2 1st’s and take back Harris or whatever contract they want to get this done. With Russ on the squad they have zero shot at winning and with Lebron and AD that says a lot. Shit depth and Russ is so bad
