The funny thing is, the Knicks considered that package (6 picks and 4 players), but ultimately passed.

I'm curious as to what others see as Mitchell's value?

He's a All-Star, not a Superstar.


Wrap your mind around the fact that after the Barrett extension, they could have 80-85 mil tied up in 3 guards, two of them being small with matador defense.

You have to put some lockdown defenders around these guys and you need a pick or two to get that done.

As currently constructed....

If he lands with the Knicks, play in is the floor?


On the Heat, they could go to the finals because of Bam and Jimmy mitigating his lack of defense.

Yeah but players cant just think they can request trade and the request must always get granted. Maybe not sign a 4 yr deal if you are unsure of a team. Requesting a trade before a 4 yr ext starts is nuts

If @shopson67 needs proof that players have no issue ignoring a Organizations alleged transgressions, look no further than Durant asking to go to the Suns.

Sarver is a known penny pincher with a long trail of ex players that despise him.

Players will always put their self interests first.

Not trading Durant won't change that.

Zero value for me coming to the Sixers. It will cost the Sixers picks and Maxey. In my eyes it won’t be long until Maxey is better. Maxey is already a better shooter in year 2. He has the worst FG % in the league among players who get over 20 shots per game for their team. Ainge is going to fleece somebody. I’m opposed to ever picking up the phone and calling that guy.

There's a difference between penny pinching and essentially shaming your star player in public (not in reality, but the player's perception). Aren't we already saying that Ayton isn't expected to be long for the Suns?

Yeah I love the fit in Miami actually. In New York, it's awful. They don't have Allen and Mobley to help protect the rim or guard the perimeter. That would be a disaster for years to come.
