id take some picks for Sexton if they were pretty decent and save the money for a max FA next year--- if that was an option......

Cavs are in a good spot----

I just hope they dont give LeVert a crazy extension- not sold on him yet- id rather pay Sexton if I had to choose.

Cavs could easily get off of Okoro and Osman if they wanted to and open up over 50M in cap room next year.

I’d trade both

Keep your pick owed to Indy

Gives you a chance to add to your core and still maybe have the cap space to add a key, local boy….maybe lol

I’m not even sure adding for ayton screws up that process too much.

It’s gonna be hard for them to be worse than okc or hou anyway.
I don't getting Ayton messes it up either. Never know what can happen in the lottery I guess. Ayton is only 23 I think.

Not awful but not a good signing, not for that money imo. Lowry was known as somewhat of a choker before Kawhi came along. He is a really good player but injury prone, still a good defensive PG

Meh.

Lowry was the second best player on a title team.

His Toronto teams consistently overachieved

If derozen adapted his game like he did post SA that wrap wouldn’t have ever shown up.

Wanna swap defense first guys who haven’t developed that offensive game and yet and likely need a change of scenery?
Okoro for Thybulle?

lol...maybe, but I am constantly reminded how much I dislike LeBron personally when he opens his mouth.

Garland, Mobley, Allen, the new kid, Markkanen, Okoro, Rubio and 50M+ in cap room is not a bad place to start.

all though- I dont want to give up on Okoro. If they let Love, LeVert, Sexton, go and trade Osman- that gets them to over 50M in cap. Trading Osman next summer on an expiring deal should be no problem.

of course- Love has been pretty good and has a unique skill set- he isnt getting 30M anymore- but Id think about resigning him if he wants to stay. He loves playing with Rubio and the guys too.

ehhh...while Thybulle is better defensively- I still have hopes for Okoro on offense- he has shown some flashes. Thybulle's offense is prob. not gonna happen--- fairly brutal....but man- he can defend.

They didn't overachieve, they consistently won in the regular season. I will say Lebron had a lot to do with that. Also, would have to disagree, Siakam was extremely important to that team and the 2nd best player. Van Vleet also had a key role.

Lowry playoff numbers (107 games) 14.8 ppg 41% shooting 33% from 3. His ppg were comparable but his efficiency went down, trust me I saw him meltdown plenty of times vs CLE.

His numbers did go down overall but really he wasn't that good to begin with. He can't be a 2nd best player on a championship team and he wasn't but his defense and passing ability are his best traits

That's why if you add KD to those 2 and they would be dangerous.

The Knicks have 8 tradable first round picks and Barrett, Topin, Quickley.
at first thought you made an excellent point and you still might but not sure how much better Barrett is than Sexton (no doubt height in his favor). Are Toppin and Quickley that much more attractive than, say, Okoro and Osman? Might be, but not so sure....NY likely does have more and better picks, though.

All that said if Cavs are shooting their shot with a major deal I'd like it to be for a wing, preferably a SF.....not another small SG who is a bit better Sexton for likely a lot more money.

The NY Post already has Mitchell to the Knicks.

LOL.
Makes sense. They have the desire to get him and they’re a shit organization. They’re going to throw away assets in a bad deal and they’ll be an eternal 5-8 seed.

According to Pelinka, AD has completely bought in and has been working on his body all off season in an attempt to be stronger and less injury prone. Apparently he is also working with ''Lethal Shooter'' who is supposed to be one of the top shooting coaches in the world.

While this is good news for Lakers fans, we still need to see if the focus on his body is going to be a case of ''too little, too late''.

You’re taking me back to the days of summer videos of Ben Simmons dominating and taking jumpers.

Kinda has that feel.

Especially the working on his body part.

But at least we know AD has been willing to shoot the ball in actual games. lol

Bullshit. You know the Cavs would totes take THT for him, but the Lakers would probably want a pick too.
Why are Lakers fans the only people who see any value in THT? Y'all should be lucky to get a broken office chair for him.
