Post all star game numbers last season

24/6/4

The man was putting up numbers nightly
Yeah he came on but I gotta see it for more than post All-star break. He was talked up a lot going to Duke and after, still young but compared to Zion and Ja he is just another guy in that ‘19 draft imo

If you did a redraft of his draft class, he is still a top 5 pick
That draft was top 2 heavy….well for the most part. Garland is an all-star. Herro is borderline All-Star. Overall pretty weak.

Zion, Ja then

Garland, Hunter, Herro, Poole, Barrett

Barrett’s numbers are deceiving. High volume, low efficiency. He shot 40% and 34% from 3. Someone will overpay and it is likely the Knicks.

I would take all those guys above Barrett

No way I'm putting Poole over Barrett. Need to see more offense out of Hunter as well before I put him over RJ

The 4 that I would take are Zion, Ja, Herro, and Garland.

RJ is 5th for me currently. The key for RJ IMO is to take fewer 3's and you will see his shooting % increase to the mid 40's

Just say you didn't watch the heat play last season

Lowry had a fine season. In the playoffs he tried to play on a hammy that he hurt early in the atlanta series. This was an injury that would have likely kept him out close to a month in the regular season
I don’t know man. I’m coming around again on this one. “Awful signing” goes too far. But the Heat’s best player is Butler and Butler is best when the ball is in his hands and running the offense through him. Lowry was broken down when it really mattered and now he’s a year older. And he’s $30 million dollars a year. Awful goes too far but this signing doesn’t look great right now.

Not awful but not a good signing, not for that money imo. Lowry was known as somewhat of a choker before Kawhi came along. He is a really good player but injury prone, still a good defensive PG

Last season he had a lot going on. You don't miss over a month of basketball for personal reasons just because but he was good when he was out there in the regular season. I refuse to judge players who fighting through injuries in the playoffs and only playing because it was the playoffs. It is the same reason I don't bash Herro for his play in the playoffs.

There was a clear difference in the Heat and Bam with Lowry and without him. Jimmy is the Heat best player but you don't want the ball always in his hands during the grind of the regular season....otherwise he is burned out by the playoffs as he saw in 2021

They were a 6 seed him without him and a 1 seed with him. He made a difference and assuming he is still with the Heat, I think we see a better offensive version of him next year

And they were one game from the finals with 4 of their top 6 playing with injuries that would have kept them out multiple weeks in the regular season.

Your Miami obsession is embarrassing. They overachieved and had a great season but yet you are talking about contracts
whats funny is you cant say I am wrong. lol.

Funny thing is he had no injuries issue with Miami until that hammy in the playoffs. Basically all the games he missed in the regular season was due to personal reasons or covid

I don't care about players who are overpaid when the team is successful. You think Lakers fan will give a shit about Russ getting 47 mil if they are playing into late May/early June next season?

As someone said on last week, damn near the entire league is overpaid

Yeah that is unfortunate but he still he is regressing. A solid player but I believe there weren’t many options at the time for Miami. I still dont like the deal though

He's regressing but he is a much better player than what he was in the playoffs playing on one leg

That's how I have it too.

I'm just not a Barrett fan when you have to pay him 20 plus per.

Nah.

Let's go Lakers!!!!

Clippers need to lose so they aren't eligible for the CRAPionship Game.

Could you imagine the jokes if the first chip that they win would be in Summer League?

My GAWD.
