The Jazz are now showing a willingness to listen to trade offers for All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Utah's asking price appears to be steep after dealing Rudy Gobert for a bundle of assets.

44% is a solid number for a guy who is a volume shooter and doesn't get to the line much. Go back to attempting 6-7 threes per game and you have a more efficient Donovan

Donovan is close to a top 15 player to me still. I just dont think you are going anywhere if you make him your clear #1. He is probably best as a 1B/#2 option type of role

Maybe top 25 for me. He’s slop on the defensive end. Tons of guys at his position who aren’t in that top 25 yet but are cheaper with more upside. Now work in the fact that Danny Ainge doesn’t do a deal where he doesn’t come out of the deal feeling like it was one sided and he fleeced you and this acquisition is a recipe for disaster. Someone is gonna overpay. Sixers Twitter is gayer than a bag of dicks. People are looking to send out Maxey for this chump. Fuck that noise.

And being fair, Utah switched it up under Snyder two years ago where they preach taking early 3s. His 10 per game is a product of what the staff wanted. Might be why it didn’t work out there…encouraging a 35% shooter to take 10 a game.

Honestly, I’d rather have Sexton Allen and the picks. Mitchell is just gonna quell Garland and his development. One basketball and Garland’s pure bad ass speed is a trait most guys don’t have.
