Hayward plus pj tucker for Harris is how it would work out

They need to clear room for tucker since they will be hardcapped with that deal
Looks like the room Sixers need is coming from Harden opting out and resigning for less than the player option of 47.5 in exchange for 2 more years of guaranteed money in the 40 range.

Well, unless Rob learned to move in silence, I haven't heard rumblings of the Lakers doing anything substantial, outside of giving the Midlevel to Otto Porter, not Monk.

Lakers could be left holding their dicks again.

But, maybe the front office patched up the leaks?
Hmmmmm...Porter is interesting but I really like Monk.

If Kyrie is a Net, it's really the only "option" left for LA. Brogdon and Hield, two bad contracts, for the worst contract in the NBA. I would throw in 2 future picks if needed bc both those guys fit and immediately make the Lakers SO much better. Give the farm to Indy, they aren't winning anything this year. Then Indy can sell high on Turner and rebuild with their young core. Let Russ sit the bench LOL
Somebody told me Indy wasn't interested in RW.

Lakers don't need him though. They need bigger wings and front court help. Monk is just a guard who can score. You can make a case that a healthy Kendrick Nunn could give you the same production Monk did last year. Lakers would be better off seeing if they can get Porter or TJ Warren to bite on the 6 mil mle first before offering it to Monk

True and looking forward to Nunn playing. He could be a really good role player.

Everyone gets desperate with enough time. If nobody wants Brogdon, they could be forced to ship him. Now that won't come without a couple of future picks. I still don't think it happens, just saying, if Russ was traded this is really the only deal that makes sense unless MJ really wants him.

That came from the Lakers beat writer for the Athletic.

Jovan Buha.

He said Lakers are going to try and split the 6.5 between 2 wings and he thinks Monk is out

KCP is solid, but Denver gave up 2 pretty good players on reasonable contracts.

I am guessing you don’t like this deal. Looks like it is all about saving money from Denver’s end.
Half in and half out. Tae was so passionate about this team and it's tough to see him go. This deal will seem like a waste without a follow up signing and especially if Boogie is not back.

Yeah, you WANT to keep him.

But, you don't need to.

If I'm the Lakers, I'd watch the Brogdon situation very closely.

He is running out of destinations.

Clippers got Wall, Wiz got Monte Morris...

He's down to the loser in the Brunson derby and Dallas already has Dinwiddie.

Maybe a new team pops up.

But, I'd circle back with another offer.

Another offer, as in same as the first lol...

Bones can pick up some of Monte's slack as long as Murray is back.
