Preseason games could help Howell but I think there will be a lot more to it than that. I won't lie that I am looking forward to how he plays in preseason or if he even gets much time in preseason. I think he should.

I liked him as the college season moved along and going into the draft. I think he was a steal as a 5th round draft pick. Like Wentz I do not know how he is going to work out but I am excited at the potential. This team needs one of those two QBs (Wentz and Howell) to work out.

I don't think we sign back TH next year unless Wentz gets hurt, they put him in and he balls out. In a perfect world Wentz does well and Howell becomes the backup next year and Th leaves via FA. If Wentz fails then they are way too many options to post.

Just a note in a recent interveiw Mathis said his production went up each year because of his diet and he lost weight and started to do the little things .. said if he had 1 more year in Collage he would have been a top Dt .. just wanted to point this out

I don't think mathis has peeked yet .. but I do think iron man and settle had .. in context I mean iron was not going to get better settle was not going to get better in the stock world iron man would have been A sell and settle would have been A Hold .. all in all them gone won't hurt the pofilo any

Or they just want cheaper DTs to focus on landing qb .. but I rather just have a solid guy Hieniche and Wentz and roll the dice .. and draft a qb every year or every other year even if you get a big time qb in Free Agencies he will be past his prime I really hope Howells is that guy I have not heard anything really about him in otas wow moments etc etc
