POLL Should the Lakers explore trading LeBron?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.....he just had an MVP season and all but he's the biggest asset they have. However, how long can he maintain his current level of play.....1 or 2 more seasons?

RW is the player who should be traded but his market value sucks. And they could let him walk after next season.

AD is great when healthy but he's injured a lot and his trade value is at an all time low.

Cleveland is the only likely place Lebron would go to, that team could trade for him and still be in contention. I give it a very low chance though.

So, the Warriors are supposed to give up Klay or Dray, plus the young players that they are looking to energize their big 3 for a few more years and then transition to when the Big 3 get old and retire...for a couple of seasons of Lebron?

That's the problem. At this point in his career, Lebron isn't going to a non-contender, he'd retire first. But, a contender would have to give up too much of what makes them a contender to remain contenders.

The best chance right now is for him to hope that AD can stay healthy for 65-70 regular season games plus playoffs and that they can trade Westbrook for someone who can help.

If they trade Lebron, AD needs to go...if you can't trade Russ just hold onto him until the trade deadline give one last effort to trade him, if not, he will leave in the offseason. Gets as much as you can (young players and picks) for AD and Lebron. Start from scratch, plus the Lakers have no problem getting FA's. A couple young players, picks and FA's will do the trick-or you just end up trading all those young players for a star. Never-ending circle jerk
