I don’t get the whole hot potato thing they’re doing right now with the TNT championship, I don’t think it helps anybody to have Sammy lose it to Scorpio Sky, win it back and turn heel, only to lose it again tonight.

I don't mind that kind of thing for midcard titles. Keeps things interesting if every once in awhile you see a couple guys trade it back and forth a couple times over the course of a few weeks. Breaks the routine of new guy wins title, has predictable first couple of defenses, etc. Plus, it worked here with the double turn as Sky is way more over now as face than he was when he won it the first time.

BTW, Sammy needs to settle the fuck down. Dude is gonna cripple himself with some of the shit he's doing. That whateverthefuck corkscrew he tried and completely whiffed on was totally unnecessary. I'm not even sure there's a safe way to land it. Either Sammy fucks himself up (which he did) or he lands right on Sky's head.

Not too shocked to see Deeb win since I feel like she’ll be Rosa’s next challenger.

No way that was Sky's fault. The way Sammy's rotating and the speed, it'd be stupid hard to catch him safely. Plus, Sammy didn't even get far enough to him. He came up short on the jump too.

Maybe. It Just IMO looked like Sky moved early but not that you mention it. Sammy did fuck that up a bit

I think that is some of the issues with the "Gen X" wrestler today.

There too focused on "Mick Foley/Shawn Michaels" spots then real getting down to it. Why i perfer guys like Mr. Ziggles, Benoit (huge fan of his), Punk, Angle....................

Guys that know how to wrestle instead of the "Holy shit. Did they just do that?

I thought last night was the best show in awhile. FTR singles match was a banger. Jericho's in the process of another epic character reinvention. Kingston is in the conversation for the best promo in wrestling. As far as gritiness and authenticity he can't be beat right now. The longterm execution on the Wardlow face turn has been flawless. He has everything needed to be the biggest star in wrestling down the road. The ladder match was insane and it segues perfectly into the mixed tag match at the PPV.

My only complaint is no mic time for Lambert. He needs a talking segment every show.

I always thought he was the most talented of all the Dark Order members.

It's weird considering ROH is gonna need tag teams when it gets off the ground again. Why not just send Uno/Grayson over there? For whatever reason, they never really took off on AEW TV. Silver/Reynolds became the more over team.

They had go away heat until Brodie came in. And I know that punch incident really hurt any momentum they had. ROH wouldn’t be bad for them because there’s really not much for the group other than being on the Dark shows every week or doing an occasional job on the televised shows.

Dark Order was good with Brodie and then later in Hangman's story. But now that done with Hangman, they don't really have anything for them to do. Even their BTE bits have been meandering and directionless. But even with the roster being as bloated as it is (loaded with tag teams as well), it still seems weird they couldn't find something somewhere for Uno/Grayson. Like you said, Grayson can really go and Uno isn't too shabby either. Seemed like it was time to let DO go their separate ways and give them a chance to do their own thing

The only two people they seem to really have any interest in getting over are Silver because of his charisma and Preston Vance because of his physique. Even Anna Jay hasn’t really been doing much of note other than tag matches on Dark either.

Men's Owen bracket has a Joker. Who's it gonna be? Cesaro? Gargano? Miro?

I can see Cesaro. Maybe he can be posing as that big bulky cameraman that’s been very noticeable the past few weeks.

Women's Owen has a Joker slot too. Ember Moon? Tegan Nox? Candace LeRae (free agent now though she just had a baby like 3 months ago)?

I think it’ll be Ember/Athena or Candace.
