I thought that the first and last matches were the best things on the show. FTR is showing why (in my opinion) they’re the best team in the business right now. Also, Jeff has not looked good at all since he’s come in. It looked like they were trying to set up a spot last night where he was supposed to jump off the Butcher’s back and hit Blade but tripped over him and screwed up. Both of the Hardy’s look old and broken down but yet Christian still can go at a decent pace.
Read the spoilers and it sounds like the main event will be worth going out of your way to watch on Friday.

All those spots over the years have finally caught up with Jeff. They're still trying to work the same style and they can't really do it so it stands out more.

Bingo. This is the same fate for guys like Sammy and Darby if they don’t modify their styles. It eventually will catch up to you.

It’s like Tony Khan bought the Hardy’s from the early 2000s and won’t waiver from booking them like that.

That is a huge coup for them
Absolutely. And the service is pretty cheap. Right now, just a bit over $8. But also for anyone reading this, the way they do things is that no matter when you get the service, it starts over at the beginning of the month (meaning that if you ordered the service on the last day of a month, you’d pay for that month and then you’d have to restart it again the beginning of the following month).

Yeah, but I'm also not sure they could wrestle any other style if they tried. Matt kinda sorta can because he's always been the more proficient of the brothers. But Jeff has largely always been a high risk spot monkey. His whole moveset has always just been whisper in the wind, swanton, twist of fate, and then a ton of crazy dives/bumps.

That match was as good as I had anticipated. The Danielson and Trent match I thought was really good as well. Interested in what Yuta goes next. I’d personally like to see them beating the shit out of him in short clips until they think he’s ready and Regal let’s him use the Regal Stretch as a finisher when he comes back.

Both of those guys’ chests were definitely showing the effects of that. If you enjoyed that, I’d say go back to watch the Taichi and Kota Ibushi G1 match from around a couple of years ago where all but three moves were kicks to each other’s legs.
Agree about the post match. Can’t tell much so far but the guy looks like another Great Khali, Giant Gonzalez or Giant Silva type guy that doesn’t look all that mobile from what little I saw. Really wish they’d cut back on the darkening of the arena that they like to do all the time.

The announcers said he was drafted to the NBA so unless he's had some type of career-altering knee injury he has to be more athletic than Khali or Giant Gonzalez.
The segment last night wasn't well received but I actually don't mind the idea of AEW pushing a wrestler like this in a major angle right out of the gate as long as they're ready for the spot. That's yet to be seen here either way.

For his sake, hopefully they feed him a bunch of jobbers for a while to try to make him look as good as he can.

I don't mind the idea, but the execution of it was just dumb. Pairing Singh up with Dutt and Lethal makes a lot of sense. He's a green rookie and you can't do much better finding two good vets to guide him along. Both Lethal and Dutt can easily talk for him and with his size, him being the muscle for their antics works well too. But debuting him with the lights going out makes no sense at all. When that happens, you're expecting a surprise debut of a known person. Like if it was Cesaro, it'd make sense. But no one has any clue who that guy is. So everything fell flat. Instead of doing that, when Dutt and Lethal were talking about the gift they had for Joe, Singh should have come with them and the 3 men stalk the ring trapping Joe. He'd look much more monstrous that way instead of going lights out and then everyone going "who the fuck is that?"

He was drafted 52nd overall in 2015 and never made it out of the G-League. He's got some talent but it's very very slim.

They should have just debuted Singh in a style similar to how they portrayed him tonight at Battle of the Belts.

Oh man, the title of the article said "spoiler" so I thought it would give people an option to not have it spoiled. Didn't know the link would include a synopsis in it. My bad.

Also if someone can send a message to the AEW brass it's time to turn Lambert and MOTY face. I speak for the entire internet when I say they're our favorite part of the show!
