6 games, this AFTER they decreased the severity of the 'whacky weed' violations..which tells me, it ain't weed, dude is juicin' somehow
Maybe steroids to help the recovery from injury.

Don't know if this guy is making it up but it makes sense for that suspension

don't they typically have the prescribing physician get with the league and get a variance in those instances? or are we talking "alternative rehab methods" outside of a doctors orders?

and is the PED policy different than the drug policy, where you have one ding on the record that is never released, you are just 'in the program' a second one puts you in the treatment program and a third gets you a suspension? Or is that even a thing anymore? I may outta the loop on that deal.

Yeah I haven’t keep up on details of all this myself. However quick recovery from injury is one the big motivation for steroid use.

IIRC, Chris Simms was convinced that the Niners traded up for Mac Jones. (his top QB list being - Wilson, Lawrence, Jones, Mond, Fields, Lance)

I figured just with the way a lot of the media was talking at the time that Lance was not QB3. I thought most analysts had Fields or Jones in the top 3. Lance was considered a 'fit' for the Niners but I suspect they might have been bidding against themselves.

Looks like the Niners plan to shop Grop this summer. They probably won't trade him to the Seahawks, so the other options are probably Atlanta, Carolina, and my personal favorite the Steelers.

(Maybe the Browns if word on Watson's fate comes through. Which would be a total diss on Mayfield.)

Another shadow over this crop of rookie QBs - if Garoppolo comes, everybody else sits as long as he's healthy.

Mike Davis headed to BAL, Gus Edwards has some competition behind Dobbins now, or Dobbins and GusBus aren't recovering as quickly
