what I dont like to hear is this tackle is one of the most penalized Lineman in college. Now going to the team with the most penalized OL. Not like our coaches are doing a bang up job of teaching the OL to not get penalties.

NYG and Egals definitely closed the gap on us. Egals probably closed on Washington completely. NYG will still be a ways back, but we will have our hands full this season with the other two.

That it what ticked me off. Him being a project and the penalties. Not what I expect to draft in the first round. Hope I am wrong. Let's see what they do going forward.

Depends on how fast those WRs and DEs go off the board. I know we love Sam Williams. IDK if we feel like he drops in our lap or if we have to move to get him.

Good player. Maybe a better version of Dorance Armstrong (good against run and pass)If we are going to take him I'd have rather we took Wyatt

I'm counting 7 teams that pick in front of us that could use a DE/edge player still. I am also counting 8 players that have about the same grade (NFL.com). So if we like Williams, we'd probably need to jump half those teams. I assume we have him ranked much higher than everyone else (Jerry will tell us that) to justify a strong move up the board.

Took a look at the trade chart. Seattle's second 2nd rounder - #41 overall - is valued the same as our #56 and #88 together. I doubt we go above that mark. Seattle may be willing to accept a trade with that one, since they have back to back right there.

I think Paschal will be a better player too. Not a speed rusher but has a lot of Tank Lawrence in him. Will be stout vs the run and get 8-9 sacks.

If they felt pass rusher was a need, they could have just picked Johnson when he was there at 24 and taken a guard in round 2. I think they would like WR or DT. The two guys they supposedly wanted to trade up for were Drake London and Jordan Davis

On trading, my thoughts are you NEVER trade down because you think the player is a good choice at 30, but not 24.

This idea of he'd be great at 30, but not 24 was something I always thought was kind of dumb.

This seemed to be the way Jerry thought of the draft when he totally controlled the draft..

When watching tape of Smith one needs to ignore the holding and focus on just the athletic traits. If they can teach him how to use his hands he is going to be real good. He certainly won't be getting man handled like Connor Williams.

Was somewhat joking after the Davis pick by Philly, but a lot of good DTs in the NFCE. Even if this kid turns out to be a good LG I'm still worried about Biadasz. He was, IMO, no better than Williams. These big DTs pushed him all over the place.

I don't know if Farniok is too tall for Center or not. Possibly they draft another lineman tonight. I think the Biadz we saw last year is the best it going to get. A liability. The offense struggled when both Biadz and William's were getting blown ths eff up by bigger defensive tackles

I've heard this every year. Until they get QBs or Dak gets hurt, I don't care. Dak owns the NFC East.
