Ok, as predicted, Only one QB was taken in the first round, and I'm suggesting that he went instead of Willis because he's the most NFL-ready. For this class, there's a lot better value in round two, also as predicted.

Sometimes we have to give credit to those who actually take the time to study college players. I get it that there are people who get paid to do so, but when people scoff at non-professionals for making informed assessments, we all suffer a little in our mistrust of one another. You weren't wrong. All along this has been considered a weak QB class. Maybe one or two of them plays well but it made sense to wait until the 2nd or later round to draft them.

Pitre is quicker than fast, but he ran a 4.44 40-yard dash at Baylor’s pro day. His intelligence and instincts allow him to play fast and impact the game in so many different ways. The Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 finished last season with 75 tackles, 18.5 TFLs, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions and three forced fumbles.

He is a better WR with 4 years of experience than given credit for. Can be moved all around the offense and has tremendous upside. What's not too like other than this WR was not on anyone's radar. Plus a 3rd & 4th thrown in to move back 5 spots. Excellent move imo. Now, what we do with 2, 3 & 4 remains to be seen. I'm expecting another trade back this evening.
