This was awesome. Just saw the Espn special on this one. I think it was called draft featured. Norv wanted Shuler and Casserly wanted Dilfer.

Mel isn't any different than anyone here, in the media or anywhere else.

Kind of reminds of when the Redskins went 0-4 in preseason, Buckhantz was interviewing a pissed off Gibbs and saying you are picked to finish high in the standings. Gibbs said "WHO said that?!?!" to which Buckhantz replied "Playboy" .... Gibbs almost blew a gasket as he rolled is eyes and said "Playboy picking football tells it all." Skins won the Bowl.

This is what walter football thinks of our WR stable:
NFL Team Logo for Redskins Washington Redskins: Drake London, WR, USC

The Redskins traded for Carson Wentz, so how can they not provide their new quarterback with some new receiving talent? All they have is Terry McLaurin at the position. Wentz will struggle to catch on in Washington if they don't give him another dynamic weapon.
Drake London has mismatch size, and he could be the first receiver off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft. He has drawn comparisons to Mike Evans.
*** OTHER 2022 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: ***
1. Chris Olave/Jameson Williams, WR - Here are the other receivers in play at No. 11.
2. Kyle Hamilton, S - I've mocked Hamilton here for a while, but I think there's more of a chance that he'll slip.

*Not a good sign when pundants think Wentz struggles without another go to weapon. If play makers are needed this badly we should trade down in the first round and accumulate more picks if its WR the team is targeting.

I love how the pundits dismiss Samuel and Brown.

I am genuinely baffled as to why you think pundits should NOT diss Brown. Seriously.

b/c he was a 3rd round pick who was hurt last year. Do you just give up on players in their rookie years?

What has either player accomplished in WASH? Let me answer that for you, NOTHING. We have Tmac and an injured converted QB at TE. We could use another TE as well. Reyes doesn't know the game and Bates while looking promising, does not give you the athletic ability we need in a pass catching TE to pair with Thomas. Anotherwards, we need more weapons period.

You dont just give up on a high priced FA player after one year. You don't just give up on a 3rd round pick after injuries.

There’s a middle ground between “giving up on a third round player” and “not being surprised that pundits aren’t counting on him to be good,” dean.

Brown didnt produce at all last year. He cannot be counted on this year. Its that simple.

I'm sticking to a trade down to teens picking up extra picks. Take WR Christian Watson rd 1, Corral at 47 and LB Anderson with extra 2nd rd pick. TE, CB, G later picks. Likely won't happen but fun to throw out there.

Trade down should be top priority if they can't select Jameson Williams
