The next shuffle might be picking a rock or something else and actually truly shuffling the cast. Over the years, I think that they have learned that just putting two people into another tribe is basically ending their stay in the game. Of course, if those two are really good at the game, they can turn the new tribe against each other.

Problem in this day and age is that the producers are worried about any potential racial impropriety. Not that they gave a rats shit last season when the six blacks formed an alliance and made it to the final six. It was interesting watching them eat their own young.

But DAYUM, SON. He literally picked up his entire team and put them on his shoulders and carried them through the entire challenge. Pure domination.

Right. No way anyone will vote him off until the merge. And once that happens people will keep him just because he is the big threat and it is easier to hide behind the big threat.

So we will see. But I can’t imagine him surviving after his first loss after the merge.

Survivor, after merge they tried to do an all black but failed miserably.

You’d think. But he seems so much stronger than everyone else.

Personally I hate this, as it is such bad casting. But at least it is better in survivor than big brother because survivor is just one competition per week.

Its a bigger disadvantage for him. Survivor comps are so all over the place doesnt matter who it is, they aint winning all 11 immunities after the merge. The record 5 is impressive as shit enough.

Having him stick out like a sore thumb in this cast is shittier for him. Hes the guy everyone will want out first chance.

Both. Definitely more of an advantage in BB than survivor.

I agree that after merge the competitions are more random so he might not have the advantage in all. But he guaranteed his safety until after merge.

I was rattled at first but when thinking deeply about it, not a terrible move(also not a brilliant one by any means)

But main reason could be under the assumption everyone is truthful and the vote is daniel. All votes on daniel. He plays the shot in dark and gets it. Now Mike goes home. Its 100% Chanelle on a revote if not.

Other reason could be basically what appears has happened so far, make Mike think one of the other two covered their ass and wrote his name down. Sure it seems risky that by not voting Daniel she went to a tie vote. But in that moment, you know that in the split vote they are voting out whoever was the plan anyways.

So who is getting the Winners Edit?

Jonathan, obviously, but no way in hell is he winning. He will need to win EVERY immunity post merge to have any chance. He might not even make jury. This episode was another example of him single handedly winning (ok, second place) a challenge for his tribe. They did introduce some negative social aspects to his game in this episode, though. This probably is setting the scene for his ousting next week.

Mike seems to get a lot of “diary room” time, giving his explanations of why he does what he does.

I still don’t know all the names, but those two have jumped out at me so far.

I still don’t know all the names, but those two have jumped out at me so far.

I think Hai and Romeo have a good feel for the game.

There could be a scenario where Jonathan get used as a meat shield and hangs around, but he just seems like he would too easy a target the first time he doesn't win individual immunity.

I think Mike will get caught in a numbers crunch and not be saavy enough to find a way out.

I agree that Mike doesn’t appear that bright. But he is featured every episode and gets his explanation vignettes that are the tell tale sign of a winner’s edit.

With Maryanne having an interesting one. Because shes not really being underminded as a player. Just a bit as a personality, but they have went out of their way to make it known its who she is.

Romeo is also a interesting case cause he gets good strategy content. But his tribe being completely ghosted for 1 ep does not bode too well.

I would be interested in seeing an all athlete version of survivor.
From gymnasts to weightlifters.
Amateur to pro to retired.
Throw in a social media influencer or two.

I think Maryanne is just getting time because she is a loon. She is getting a Purple Edit (comic relief or commenting on other’s games). Nothing about her edit appears to be about the producers making their case that she is/was a deserving winner.

They really haven’t shown much about his thought process, though. Just that he is probably the most dominant physical player the game has ever seen.

I think that would be kinda boring, actually. Beasts are fun, and tend to be my favorite type of player, but realistically, the strategic players are the ones who offer the best entertainment. Social players are likable, but for the most part, don’t add anything.

Purple edits are those that are invisible. Shes far from a purple edit.
