You mean to tell me if we eat Subbans cap hit a team isn't taking a flyer on him? Just zero creativity with Fitz, there were seals to be made. "It was quiet", then you suck if that was the case.

The more I dwell on this, the more drivel that spews from Fitz mouth, the more I know we won't be making the necessary moves this off-season. We're going to bring back the coaching staff, Fitz will be here, we're probably signing Subban and running back essentially the same lineup with maybe a tweak here and there to bottom 6/bottom pair. This guy is not taking us to the next level.

I'm not necessarily disappointed we didn't make moves at the deadline. Nothing was going to be given to us of real instant impact value. It would've been just picks.

This doesn't eliminate any moves in the off season either IMO.

The season is done for competition wise, another missed year of playoff hockey which really fucking sucks.

The players are constantly changing but something else isn't and that needs to be addressed. Time to flip that bench over and bring in proven winning hockey coaches. That would be the best course to right this ship.

We're not in bad shape in salary status IIRC so no distraught from my end.

Just finish this season out, hopefully land #1, if not, top 4.

Maybe we trade that top 4 pick to someone for a real goal scorer or draft that Slafkovsky kid which i like!

While I agree to an extent, getting something for expiring assets like Vesey or Subban, even if it's nothing spectacular is better than nothing. Those assets can be added to that potential impact deal, or to move up in the draft. Those guys net us nothing if they leave as UFAs.

Seeing Jack excel this season is great but seeing how Nico has really elevated his game the second half of this year was crucial. If he can maintain this level of play with any consistency then we're in great shape moving forward.

Two of my buddies had season tickets (separately) and both are giving them up after this year. They confirmed place is not maintained properly (issues with their own seats having damage) and confirmed the food has declined drastically.

I went early or so I thought I was early and tried to eat pregame across the street from the rock. Dinosaur BBQ closed after 10 year run. American whiskey 45min wait and then probably another 45 to get your food. Beirgarden a free for all madhouse. And the last place on the end empty and smelled like gas. Threw in towel and went inside rock and paid $20 for a sad burger and some fries.

no true semi-objective reason we can't play this way every game... goals scored aside, the speed, decision making and effort etc....
