so why give Moana such a massive WE? Just because Dave was SOOOO dominant they needed a swerve story?

That was one of the more dominant wins ever in Survivor.

Seriously. Who here believes Sharn is actually an attorney? She looked pitiful for the second time in final tribal.

David is one of the best to ever play the game. Hes also maybe my personal favorite ever. Hes an absolute force. He got too confident his first time around but even that game him and Luke ran a clinic getting off the bottom twice and taking control. In All Stars everyone had just been watching his first season live(the popcorn idol ep aired like a week before) and knew his game. He still had everyone eating out of the palm of his hand. And this time chose wisely on his allies and was more aware.

Hes got full US citizenship. Would love to see him on US survivor. Probst ego probably too big to allow it though.

I am obviously not ready for it, but you mentioned that S7 was streaming “live” in the US. Where? It isn’t available on P+

I would love to see some Aussie players play the US version. But 99.5% of the audience has never watched the Aussie game, so I am not certain what the benefit would be.

Benefit would just be bringing over good personalities for Tv.

But crossovers are most likely going to stay on the Aussie version. They dont give a fuck about having americans. Where as US survivor requires citizenship.

I was unaware of the US citizenship requirement.

But the US version is the Big Daddy. They gain nothing by having an Aussie play their game. If the Aussie player loses, no one even realizes it happened. If the Aussie wins, that would be a HUGE feather in their cap. Like having an MMA fight between a man and a woman. There is absolutely no benefit to the guy. If he wins, he was supposed to AND he just beat up a woman. If he loses, he just lost to a girl.

And assuming it would be some kind of all star season, the Aussie player would have a huge advantage because the Americans would have no idea how the Aussie plays while the Aussie would know all the Americans’ strategies.

The All Star thing isnt true.

The US players are very aware of Australian survivor. Hence how Russell and Sandra have already made it on. There are loads of podcasts on it where US players discuss the show with Australian players. Rob Cesternino's company does a ton on it.

I believe there are reality charity events that happen yearly in Florida or some shit and Australian people go. These lunatics like to view themselves as professional athletes and celebrities. Love the publicity.

Now the casual US viewer would have no damn clue whats going on. But the players would.

And btw…

the S6 cast SUCKS

I didnt even finish this season after it became so obvious(i was watching live with links before paramount so should probably finish now) i got to like final 5 or 6. Least favorite season.

The current season on now is great so far though.

Part of the problem with the cast is that it is next to impossible to tell anyone apart unless you are paying really close attention.

George sticks out, but he is annoying af.
Wei sticks out, but she physically looks different from everyone else.

All the chicks are ugly body builders. I can kinda track one of them, but only because she has a giant ass and always walks around with a wedgie. I am not even certain of her name. The only HOT chick got eliminated WAY too early.

No. I have been binging Aussie Survivor. The next U.S. Survivor will be starting mid March, I think.

All the international Survivors are not on Paramount + right now in America. If you are watching through Prime it seems to be ok. Hopefully it is a glitch cause the wife and me were a few episodes from the end of the first season.

I can’t argue too much the results of the final 2. George was masterful at the strategic game; competent at the social game; but he completely punted the comp game. Hard to give the win to someone who completely ignored 1/3 of the game.

Cara has to be one of the stupidest players to ever play the game. But she is kinda cute for an “older” woman (though she is likely younger than me by a good measure).

Simon was one of the dooshiest players to ever play. What a skeeze.

Though, to be fair, none of the players were really likable. I stand behind my comment that this cast SUCKED.

I watched all of the first 6 seasons on P+. I just finished S6 today.

S7 I couldn’t find on P+, though.

I just checked.

I see the series page (I have it favorited), but it is empty. All episodes have been removed.

Thats odd…

Looks I finished it at the last possible second. LOL

Now I am reading Paramount + does not have the rights to past seasons of Autralian Survivor while a new season is on. No notice, no nothing. just delete the show. I also read a number of people that cancelled their suscriptions over this.

Sounds like a big oopsie by Paramount. They weren’t supposed to have it up. I am guessing there was effectively a cease and desist delivered by the Aussie producers.
