Let’s be fair…it all still comes back to Ben. Because Doc could have that same comment about most players in the league and it wouldn’t result in the end of a relationship the way it did here. Should Doc have played it differently? Absolutely. But you don’t get there without Simmons being the player in that mix. Any other guy and it gets worked out with a sit down and people come away ready to work with each other to get better. Simmons won’t even take that meeting.

Mentioned this the other day. But Dray called out Jokic and his soft D at some point. Just don't remember exactly when that happened.

But Jokic heard about and thanked Dray. And he's playing the best D of his career this season.

This is an example of one player being able to take some criticism about his game and work to improve a flaw. And then another player who went into full bitch-mode when he was criticized.

He already refused to play for one team. And he could easily do the same thing again.

Whoever rolls the dice and takes a chance on Simmons -buyer beware.

You know, if I f up royally, like he did against the Hawks, My boss would rip me a new a$$hole. Since I am not 6'11" and can play b-ball, I don't get those courtesies. He is a pussyboy.

No one has said he isn't. But that doesn't change the Sixers role in this or that the asking price they have for him is too high. At this point, it's the Sixers who are dragging this out, not Simmons.

I still think some down there are under the delusion that Ben will come back if he isn’t traded by the deadline. Man…careful what the fuck you wish for on that shit. I feel like when a player is this level of disgruntled (shit probably 3 levels below this level of disgruntled) it’s a God send when he stays the fuck away.

Agree. If nothing else, I can't believe he'd be welcome back in the locker room, especially not by Embiid and he's who they need to keep happy.

Yep. I wonder what this tweet was about last night? (Actually, I think it was really about a soccer team but me thinking it’s Ben is better)

Even without that, he's shown that he's clearly not a #1 on a contending team, but that's the type of return the Sixers are trying to get.

The jrue holiday trade is more than fair.

You should not be excited about this.

And why is that? I would not want Maxey included but I could live with anyone else

Simmons in BKN seems like a perfect fit and possibly better especially with the other assets they acquire from Philly.
It’s James Harden if you think they are trading straight up for him, no way. If I was BKN I would be demanding Maxey but at this point they could accept Curry and picks

You sound bitter man. I will take my chances with Ben Simmons in the playoffs. Put him on the line in Philly and see how that goes!

Good luck!

You are going to see the most motivated version of Ben Simmons possible.

And I don’t think 6er fans will like it.

It is also possible he sits out the Philly games though.

I’m gonna zig here when everybody else is gonna zag. I’m encouraged by the Harden development because this sends a message to these other teams of Oh Fuck Morey is gonna actually do it. And now those last few pieces they were hesitant to roll with they may push into the pot. It’s still probably going to be Harden because of the relationship with Morey but I would rather see them get those last pieces from the Kings.

Yeah if they did the Collins deal I wouldn’t hate it either. I like his game and he would be great next to Embiid.
