Offense definitely seems the way to go in the NFL right now. Niners D had zero answers for McVey’s game plan. Any team looking for a coach needs to find an innovative offensive mind. McVey and his former OC meeting in the SB. Should be a good one.

All I know. Is if my teams defense keeps the other team to 20 or less points & my team loses. I blame the offense for not scoring.

Eli was 1 and done 4 times out of the 6 he made the playoffs. Jimmy has made it to the championship game every year he’s made the playoffs. Eli was absolute garbage.

That should balance out for them being one of the worst managed franchises for the decade before that.

It took a lot. But they've built as well through trades and FA as the draft. Not afraid to make bold moves to gain/lose draft picks, taking chances on guys like Miller and OBJ. This is their 2nd trip to the super bowl in the time period discussed. How many time has (say) Green Bay been during that time?
