OH I aready know there isnt a vet that will be available that they wont either overpay, over extend for or both.

I was talking rookie QBs and at present All have looked like a reach that we are going to force the pick or worse trade up for.

My question to the trade up or draft a qb crowd . What do you expect from a qb drafted at 11 . I would suspect elite . Are Pickett and Corral potentially elite players ? Or are they avg to above avg guys ? And do you give up multiple draft picks in 2 drafts for above avg ?

Just think its the perfect storm for them to do what we have seen far too often.

They seem to make smart decisions with their money.

1 year for fitzy.
1 year for deAndre Carter, ricky seals jones, mayo, bostic, mcclain, leno, etc.
2 years for TH

They may still overpay for somebody, but tehir track record doesnt suggest that it’s a certainty that they will. They have $60 million in cap space for god’s sake!

I feel like its much more likely that they’ll fuck up the name than they’ll overpay anybody.

Unless you consider Allen an over pay but I don't. Even the recent Leno deal makes sense.

After what we saw this year, I would be to.

All IM saying is, we have seen this quite a few times before. This fan base, and more importantly this owner, have shown a tendency to want the big move after a disappointing season. Expectations for 2021 were high, and the team flopped. Usually after a year of high expectations falls short is when we see this team double down on desperation... especially at the QB position.
