To clarify, I was envisioning a mix and match kind of 3 team deal where Harris goes to the Lakers and Simmons goes elsewhere.Yeah, when @Retroram52 suggested a Simmons for Westbrook deal, my first response was "bad fit". But then I thought about it more and I think it's a better fit than I first thought.
Embiid has a solid outside shot, along with the pick and roll that you mentioned, pick and pop would work and also driving and dishing out for a 3.
Imo, some of Westbrooks struggles, especially early, is that outside of AD, the Lakers don't really have a big that anyone has to worry about from the perimeter. Because of Embiid, that wouldn't be too much of an issue for the Sixers.
