CJ or the 2-3 the kings can offer. Barnes and Hield with a future draft pick isn't bad at all imo

CJ is a bad fit for the Sixers and given his current health issues he is a non-starter. He would need to get back to form prior to the trade deadline for it to make sense to make a deal for him.

I've maintained throughout this ordeal that the best option would be a deal with the Kings. There are several permutations of a trade that I think the Sixers would take.

And that is helping the Sixers to not waste another year of Embiid's prime how?

The only thing that prevents that from happening is if the Sixers can get productive playoff capable players in the deal.

Ben make his money while not playing a game. Sixers eliminated in round 2. Who wins that tradeoff if they continue to play hardball. Ben doesn't seem like he cares about winning too much. He in this to make as much money as possible

Good article on possible trade...

Simmons for Warren, Duarte, and Sabonis is an interesting offer. Not sure if that is what Morey is looking for.
I'm ok with adding Sabonis as long as they have another deal to ship Tobias Harris.

Kinda funny that the Blazers felt a need to leak this. If the Lillard isn't part of the trade, then why are they even engaging with the Sixers? Because they want to trade indefinitely injured CJ McCollum? LOL.

I still think it’s McCollum and Portland eats that awful abomination of a Harris contract
Wonder if they include Curry in a Simmons trade to entice their trade partner(s). No point in having CJ and Seth unless Seth comes off the bench

Some combo of Hield and/or Barnes seems likely if SAC keeps losing but I couldn’t see him not being traded lol

If I were a GM- my main question would be- if I trade for Simmons- will he be happy and motivated---- or will he mope?

Not that they are going to- but if the Blazers dealt Lillard in a Simmons deal- doesnt Simmons just cry and mope in Portland by himself?

its a delicate thing.

I think the Thunder have a ton of assets to make a deal--- but wont he just mope there?

The Kings? The Kings are actually playing better. N ot sure if they want to blow it up. I dont think the Kings want to give up Fox. I dont think Halliburton is enough.

Celtics wouldnt trade Jaylen Brown would they? I mean- I think thats kind of interesting for both teams nad maybe Simmons doesnt mope there.

If you are a GM trading for Simmons- you know you are getting a big time talent- but will the guy play hard and not cry? That is the main consideration if you ask me- and you are asking a GM to give up a premium asset or two.

Well, theres only one thing left to do...trade him to the Lakers for Westbrook.

Folks said he was the next Lebron...time for him to learn from the real thing.

lol...

honestly- I was going to say- i would set your sights on John Wall or Kevin Love- but i really dont know if either team (HOU and CLE) would want to saddle their young guys with RW's style.

I really dont know who you could even trade RW for.

thats the list of the highest salaries in the NBA this year

who would even make sense for RW? if not 1 guy- which is almost impossible- what 2 or 3 guys?

Imo, it would have to be to a team that has decided to go into a rebuild, but still wants to put butts in seats. Westbrook is still someone fans like, so they will show up.

For example, if the Blazers decided they wanted to start over, they could send Dame someplace and trade CJ for Westbrook. Fans will show up to watch Westbrook and he wont add enough wins to keep them out of the lottery.

Not saying that particular trade, but that is the type of situation it would take for them to be able to trade him and get anything significant in return.
