What’s the price for time with family? Might have issue that is urgentSounds like a mental problem.
So guys, at seasons end are you encouraged, discouraged or some of both?
I admittedly haven't followed the Rangers - baseball much at all overall recently - but did hear an interview with Chris Young recently where he was touting how the farm system is on the rebound (from ranking in the low 20s to now being on the cusp of the top ten) which was great to hear.
But again, since I'm damn near completely out-of-the-loop, what do you have to say?

I am very encouraged, and will stay that way as long as the front office stays the course and has the patience not to trade away our prospects too early. So guys, at seasons end are you encouraged, discouraged or some of both?

Definitely encouraged I did not get a ton of Astros coverage. Re Rangers neither, but quite interested in their off season approach. Am encouraged about Rangers arms in the minors. Looks like we will have some legit SP emerge from thereEncouraged so far. Awaiting to see how this off-season goes.

walking away from a guaranteed 2 years $34M and expected to receive a QO of $18.4M which is also expected to be passed on.
They can still make him a QO from what I read. I don't think the Rangers are willing to lose two draft picks.Does QO apply here? Thinking not since an opt out.
Evan seems to think one reason the owners are willing to spend big money on longterm contracts is because they won't be around at the end of those contracts.
They’re going to triple their initial investment.
I Hope they don’t make bonehead moves for a quick, competitive on field product that’s detrimental to the organization in the long run.
Who would be some people interested in buying the Rangers?
Mark Cuban?
