Give the little shit one of these and tell him to stand on the sidelines.

LOL yeah but you really going to fork up $140M to the towel boy. If so, can I be the GM?

As previously suggested. Give the season a few weeks. See if anyone gets nailed with a major injury or glaring need and make a move.

But Morey undoubtedly pissed away his best chance at maximizing Ben's value. Now it's just a matter of saving face.

I mean look at fucking Kyrie, they tried to mend the relationship AND the Cavs were in the Finals every year. Once they were for sure, they traded him. They got expiring contracts and Sexton eventually out of the deal, so it comes to a point you just have to cut the chain loose and send him off. Just get it over with

Ben isn't helping any either. He'd be best served attempting to make the best of the situation and making himself a little more attractive

Due to the salary cap…existing, you will have some contracts to take back, unless it’s okc, in whcih case they can almost absorb him entirely without it

But they aren’t buying yet
There is no chance Presti takes on that nut job

But what’s at risk at this point if reports are true? His value has already devolved to its lowest point.

See, that is just it.

I don’t think his trade value is anywhere close to a lowpoint currently.

Don’t really disagree with a whole lot here.

However, this is definitely personal with Simmons at this stage. And as the 6ers allow the drama to countinie to escalate (which they are) they continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

It is great that the fans are behind the organization, but the Embiid contention window is closing fast.

They said they would make a good faith effort to trade him and then did anything but…asking for more than harden went for.

Yeah, they messed up.

Philly had many times where they could have responded to de-escalate the Simmons drama.

Instead, at almost every opportunity they have chosen to play to the fan base who hates Simmons and publicly call him out.

Which is fine, but every time they do this they further escalate tensions.

Now they are well beyond the point of no return.

Bingo.

They basically dared Simmons to do this, thinking he wouldn’t.

Now they’re never getting the guy they had, but they want to claim they’re still trading that guy.

I think
I think Celtics fans have their fan card revoked if they don't blame the refs at least 5 times a month

I just do that one game 5x

First because it’s easier

Second because it’s accurate

Yeah, I wouldn’t want that dude on my team even for free (i.e. - no trade assets). Not willing to get better, huge cap hit, zero accountability and quits when shit gets hard? No thanks.
