The reason the Lakers lost in the second half (especially at the beginning of the fourth quarter) is they didn't play D and only two players (James and AD) scored in double figures. James and AD carried the went-home-early Lakers including Bazemore and Westbrook who had 8 points each. Ya ain't going to win that many games in the NBA with that recipe.
thinking an adjustment from Vogel mighta helped, too...

Something, anything CL67. I kept thinking that Vogel needs to wake these old dudes up because they all just went home early or stayed in the locker room especially in the fourth quarter where they never showed-up except for James and AD.

Vogel will adjust. Right now, the players are learning to play together and the coaches are trying to figure out rotations and what groups play best together. If we get to January and they're still struggling with it, then it will be time to start worrying.

Shot very poorly. That is what I said. Nothing to do with a triple double or not.

The question is ...can Westbrook put up with being exploited by Lebron's PR firm (ESPN) just to make Lebron look good?

Westbrook had a bad first game and they are already exploiting it for LeBron's benefit.

.
Isn't every sports show on ESPN required by contract to bring James' name up a minimum of five times an episode? "Steph Curry had a triple double today and in other NBA news Lebron James had an omelet for breakfast this morning" Something like that..

It seemed like Westbrook was concerned with deferring to James. He wasn't his normal free-wheeling self.

Seems the new names are Mahomes and Jackson; the latter being well deserved. The most exciting player to watch in the NFL in my opinion

But Brady is still Brady: old, lots of rings, hated by many, most famous player in the league to your aunt who doesn't even follow the sport...just like LeBron

That's one of the things they have to figure out. He learned how to be a #2 (or at least a #1b) with Harden and Beal. Now he needs to learn how to be a #3. What's going to be tricky is that there will be times when Lebron wants him to play that free wheeling style when they're on the floor together.

I expect that over the next couple of months it's going to look "clunky" and ill fitting (like last night lol) at times and will look spectacular at others and often times...both in the same game.

Lebron has figured out how to make it work with everyone else he's played with...I expect it'll be the same with RW.

It's odd you always gots the issues with black players but never have any issues with white players no matter what the sport.

A week or so ago you blasted Justin Fields. He's not the only rookie QB struggling. Yet he's the only QB you singled out.

Hard to imagine him as a third wheel but it may come in handy when Davis goes down with his annual slew of injuries. They'll be glad they have Westbrook at that time. The NBA is funny, its the one league where egos often come before winning.
Watching the way the Warriors make the extra pass and distribute the ball is really fun. Its hard to get all the guys to buy into that but when they do, its a beautiful game.

Odd that you found something racial in my statement about James. But maybe you are one of those guys that finds some racial nonsense in everything.

You're always criticizing black players but never criticize white players. Wonder why that is?

Perhaps they deserve it? Its about behavior, not about skin color.

And there it is. So black players deserve criticism but not white players. Thanks for proving my point you're a racist. Because for you it really is about the color of an athletes skin.

LOL! How do you get that from "its about behavior, not skin color" I was right about you.

I'm not the racist here, you are. And you have proven that in multiple threads. When's the last time you said something negative about a white athlete? Never is my guess.

No you're 100% wrong about me. Cutting off the end of my comment was lame. It's not like other can't see what I fully said.
Nope. You are the one that cut off the end of my statement. You left off the most critical part of it because it doesn't fit your agenda. You are a race hysteria fool
