You're the one that set this absurd 50 year limit. For some odd reason seems like you think anything that happened in college hockey before that doesn't count. I will say this though. There's no doubt Gophers hockey is one of the best all time. But not the best like you wanna claim because you suffer from a bad case of homeritis.

And I know why you picked '71. After that season your team has 5 titles. Tied with Boston U. for the most in the past 50 years. But if you take all of college hockey into consideration, something you don't want to do, you'd see your team isn't the best like you wanna claim.

Here's an article you won't like from bleacher report. Since they don't have your Gophers listed as the # 1 hockey program they have a biased agenda right?

college hockey: power ranking the top 20 programs of all time (your head's gonna explode because of where they have your team ranked all time)

10- Lake Superior St.

9- Michigan Tech

8- Michigan St.

7- Boston College

6- Minnesota

5- Boston U.

4- Wisconsin

3- Denver U.

2- N. Dakota

1- meeeechegan
6th all time is not too bad!

No #1 All Time is better!

He led them to a title, didn't he? Turned both Ariz St and Missouri pretty legit, too.

yes, he was the coach when they won the title. But I think most any coach could have won the title with those players.

I never claimed UMD was an academic giant. But it DOES have as many Nobel Laureates as Notre Dame, lol. That's pathetic
I’m glad you never claimed that Minnesota was an academic giant, because as you point out they are about as selective as a community college. And Duluth is even less selective at 75%.

So, what do we have here? Some jackass of a columnist with no knowledge of college hockey simply looked up how many titles each school has and made a Top Ten in Ten minutes? lol.

So that person is a "jackass" because they don't have your team ranked high enough for you. Funny stuff.

Now this second comment of your shows just how epically stupid you truly are. Why can't you find a comment of mine where I said anything before 1971 in CFB doesn't count? Could it be because you know I didn't say that? Of course that's the reason.

So it's ok when you all want to disregard anything from before 1971 in cfb, but it's not ok for a hockey fan to do the same? I see how you are hypocrite.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Instead of backing any of the bullshit you spew you'd rather make up an outright lie.

Same reason Wisconsin is not credited with any cbb titles, and why lists of the schools with the most NCAA titles don't include cfb Natl Titles

:L

According to ncaa-.com Wisconsin won a CBB title in '41. You know who hasn't won a CBB national title? Minnesota.

What happened? I mean, after him, only Title you won was when you stole the Gopher's coach and some of the recruits he had going there. How many Titles since the one under Holtz?

Maybe it's because NDm stopped going to the state of Minnesota for it's coaches? lol

You do understand that the University of Minnesota is a PUBLIC University, right? lol

And UMn has around 50,000 students taking classes there every year, compared to 22,000 at NDm? So UMn does the state a service and gives 25,000 Minnesotans a high quality education without having to leave the state, and they go out into the world and become productive human beings, and the other 25,000 are easily as bright and intelligent as any of the 22,000 at Notre Dame, and evidence of this is how UMners actually accomplish things and create things and do things. and earn recognition for what they do.

What do NDm alum do? Anything? Pray the Rosary before buggering little boys, maybe? Preach in a language few can understand? Sell indulgences, oh you stopped doing that, lol. Wear lavish and stupid looking outfits in lavish gaudy temples showing off the church's wealth stolen from supposed heretics during the Inquisition after you tortured and then murdered them and raped their children or accepted from the dupes indoctrinated by your cult?

Seriously, what good has a Notre Dame alum ever done? You gave us who? Regis Philbin? lol

Go on, name a non-athlete alum of Notre Dame we'll all recognize and acknowledge has benefitted the world in an obvious way.

No, he's a jackass because he did the laziest job of making up a ranking ever known to mankind. It matches perfectly the list of # of Natl Titles won by college hockey programs. Go on, look for yourself.

Michigan, his #1, has 9 titles.
UND, his #2, has 8 titles.
Denver, his #3, has 7 titles.
Wisconsin, his #4, has 6 titles.
Boston U, his #5, has 5 titles.
Minnesota, his #6, has 5 titles.
Boston Coll, his #7, has 5 titles.
His #8, #9 & #10, all have 3 titles.

Coincidence? I think not. Because no other factors would put them in this order. # of Natl Titles won and ONLY the # of Natl Titles won would ever conceive to put those 10 teams in the Top 10 and in that order.
Now this second comment of your shows just how epically stupid you truly are. Why can't you find a comment of mine where I said anything before 1971 in CFB doesn't count? Could it be because you know I didn't say that? Of course that's the reason.

I don't/didn't know you didn't say that? You said something very similar to that, you dissed UMn for not having won a Title since 2003, so I assumed you were acting just like you did when talking about football. If you were one of the few who didn't dismiss the Gophers accomplishments prior to 1971, then good for you. Now why don't you try to be consistent in every other way?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Instead of backing any of the bullshit you spew you'd rather make up an outright lie.
You lie all the time dude. At least if I am wrong, I'm admitting I could be and didn't post something I knew to be wrong on purpose like you do CONSTANTLY. Your behavior is far from "righteous" so stop acting self righteous. Even if people don't say anything publicly, I'm sure some see exactly what I see, that you move your goal posts constantly and have hypocritically different standards depending on how the situation can be manipulated to fit your chosen narrative.

Lou was thrilled to get out of Minnesota. He used to make that point at every dinner he ever spoke at. He constantly made jokes about his life in Minnesota. I’m guessing that when he was making fun of the fans there, he was thinking of people like you.

apparently they do not provide a high quality education. That seems to be the problem. They accept almost everyone who applies which explains why their average SAT score is so low. So they enroll 50,000 mediocre students and want everyone to think they give a quality education. The bottom line is that if you don’t get accepted to Minnesota you must be pretty stupid. I’m guessing you fall into that category. Which explains why you actually ended up at a community college.

And Lou is a babbling idiot. Good coach, probably, also heard he had the NCAA investigators checking him out?

And not everyone can handle the cold? Some people are just naturally little pussies, guess that includes ole Lou spits while he talks like a nutjob Holtz? And he might have made fun of Minnesota fans in retaliation for their making fun of him and how he talks like a retard? Maybe? If he was making fun of how many fans there were? Maybe they were waiting for the little man to actually produce some results before rewarding him with their hard earned money, as tickets do cost money and in the Twin Cities, unlike , there are actually other options for things to do with your money, such as Vikings games, as the Vikes were doing quite well at that time?

And what kind of person commits to coming into a program with promises to build it up, only to abandon it after just 2 years? But he's a Catholic, what can you expect from them little boy buggering cultists? He's a fucking POS, and I'm glad he left.

UMn DOES provide a high quality education, and arguably a higher quality than Notre Dame where it seems all they try to do is indoctrinate their students to continue promoting their cult, and to be social justice warriors and prepare the world for the one world government of the Anti-Christ?

I mean, supposedly Notre Dame only brings in the best and the brightest, and UMn only the dregs of society? Yet with just over twice as many students as Notre Dame, UMn brings in just shy of FIVE TIMES AS MUCH in research dollars? lol

5 times as much? lmmfgdao@NDm!!!

And Notre Dame's only produced ONE Nobel Laureate? lol And they've employed exactly ZERO!!!

So NDm brings in the best and the brightest and then has boy buggering leftist commie loving Priests not teaching them but instead trying to indoctrinate them, and you call that a high quality education???

All Notre Dame does is TAKE, they TAKE duped people's donations and they TAKE the best and brightest among the American Catholic population and apparently now they are taking in anyone because they couldn't find enough smart Catholics as the smart ones probably left the religion behind or something? And instead of educating them, they are doing what with these high quality enrollees?

I'd put up UMn's list of famous/accomplished alumni and staff any day, and in every category, up against Notre Dame's, and I wouldn't be surprised if UMn's alums who went into religious endeavors is a more high quality list than Notre Dame's, lol.

On the first page of the rankings, which Notre Dame is only on because so many dumb dupes donate money to their Cult Headquarters, with 48 universities on the page, they are the ONE AND ONLY University(if you can call it that) that's production of Post Doctoral students is in the double digits, lol. They produced a whole 64.

64? lol

The next lowest on the list is 164. UMn's # is FOUR DIGITS.

4 digits is WAY > than 2, lol. UMn produces FIFTEEN TIMES AS MANY AS NOTRE DAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notre Dame only got THREE Natl Academy members??? THREE??? Dude, that would be embarrassing if I was a Notre Dame fan. Ouch.

I mean, only one other school on that list of 48 had single digit Natl Academy members, and it was obviously more than THREE, lol.

UMn has/had 45.

That is FIFTEEN TIMES AS MANY as Notre Dame!!!

15 times dude?

Ha, I should go look up how many Natl Academy members UM-Duluth has, lol, wouldn't shock me if even UMD has more than 3, as that is a pathetically low number.

Notre Dame is like a den of Vampires, they attract the best and the brightest, they fool them into believing their lies about being a high quality academic institution, but once they got them, they suck them dry until they are weak and pathetic and then they send them out to be their slaves and further the needs of the cult, and of course they expect them to give a portion of the little they earn(as NDm grads I doubt they make much, lol) back to the den masters, so they can continue their evil doings.

And I could have gone to West Point had I wanted to. Getting into Minnesota wouldn't have been a problem, had they had the degree program I wanted. They didn't. So I started at Community College as I was paying for it by myself and wanted to save money, and then later went to the private colleges I felt offered me the best education for my money.

And had I wanted a low quality education and a CULT indoctrination and to become a worthless loser of a social justice warrior, I'm sure I could have gotten into Notre Dame had I wanted to become a duped cult follower of a predatory greedy historically violent and evil mut of a religion that is based on lies upon lies.

They are only 6th in one idiot's lazy opinion. They are #1, in almost every other way, including the most important ways, seeing as UMn is not a professional sports organization but is instead it's an educational institution and the players are STUDENT/athletes, who need to be educated and what's most important is how they function after graduation/going pro, rather than how many titles did they win.
