No wonder you wanna move those goal posts and only talk about '71 on. And from '48 to '73 your team made it to the title game three times ('71, '54 & '53) and lost each time.

Now wonder you wanna ignore the first 2+ decades of college hockey.

And I've explained why UMn struggled during that period of time, it refused to sell out the development of American hockey for some short term gains as Michigan and Denver and UND did and recruited only Minnesotans/Americans, while those 3 schools brought in older Canadians from the Jr leagues who couldn't get into the NHL.

And I know why you picked '71. After that season your team has 5 titles. Tied with Boston U. for the most in the past 50 years. But if you take all of college hockey into consideration, something you don't want to do, you'd see your team isn't the best like you wanna claim.

Same reason Wisconsin is not credited with any cbb natl titles, and why lists of the schools with the most NCAA titles don't include cfb Natl Titles
