And I've explained why UMn struggled during that period of time, it refused to sell out the development of American hockey for some short term gains as Michigan and Denver and UND did and recruited only Minnesotans/Americans, while those 3 schools brought in older Canadians from the Jr leagues who couldn't get into the NHL.Let me remind you again what you said yesterday.

You only wanna talk about college hockey from 1971 on. Did you know that from 1948 to 1973 your Gophers have zero national titles? No wonder you wanna move those goal posts and only talk about '71 on. And from '48 to '73 your team made it to the title game three times ('71, '54 & '53) and lost each time.
Now wonder you wanna ignore the first 2+ decades of college hockey.
