Going in to this season I'd rate the top 3 as follows:
1. Mahomes
2. Rodgers
3. Wilson

based on last season, I'd put Brady at 4, but I do expect him to fall off

Now comes the coin flip group. One season does not make a career IMO, and two solid seasons trump 1 solid season
5. Watson
6. Jackson
7. Prescott
8. Allen
9. Ryan
10. Herbert

11. Stafford
12. Carr
13. Cousins

Context.......Dak lives alone, he isn't a family man, he makes big money doing all those commercials, he plays for a losing team. He wants to continue to play on a losing team ok have the Cowboys pay him 40mill, you really don't see anything wrong there?

I made 37% off new business, then 15% off renewals, that was how it worked nothing about me or anyone else. The NFL needs another way of doing things.
Who cares about Dak's lifestyle. Like I said, if your pissed at the money Dak agreed to than take it up with the Cowboys FO. If the NFL needs another way of doing business than call the main office and give them your ideas.

I do, but I prefer it be here. Not on the team board.

40 per was the rate at the time based on what he has done in his first 4 plus seasons. Dak woulda been paid the same (if not more) on the open market. Hell....Denver very likely woulda been in for his services at that number

I haven't a clue what the next 4 years will bring and laugh as if you think you do. I know Dak would take the Vikings defense over what he has had in Dallas. We'll see how this works out
Watch out if Dallas drafts a QB.
They could pull a Mii on them like Van Noy.....

Just ask anyone who has watched pro football since the Fearsome Foursome, The Kansas Comet, Bullet Bod what they think of todays game. BUT.....when it is all ya got you tune in. How QB's are treated today is ridiculous.
That’s not what you said. You said fans are turned off, but that is false.

LOL. Good for you. The dude was playing a 4th round contract even though he was the starting QB from day 1. You don't think that's playing through his head? And you're going to bash him for getting paid? Fire a complaint with Jerry and tell him you don't need and all world qb to win a SB, even though just about every winner has either had that or the dude they had was playing like he was touched by the finger of god for the playoff run.

I hate this argument. Did Prince not deserve his fortune for simply playing songs? Every entertainer is paid what the market bears, athletes are no different.

I'm thinking some of the posters claiming Dallas screwed up and should have signed Dak years ago were also critical of Philly for doing the exact same thing.

This was the predictable outcome I saw all along. Dallas most definitely overpaid for a QB who is simply not elite. Who cares if this year's cap hit is lower than the franchise tag figure? That's for only one year, the following 3 will severely restrict the Boys ability to obtain and retain the talent necessary for this to work. But they had no choice, as someone mentioned he probably held more value for Dallas than any other team. We saw last season how different that team is without Dak Prescott. I don't see the foot injury as anything, this is not an ACL or an injury to his arm or shoulder.

Still an insane amount of money to play a game... You wonder how high it’s gonna end up going, soon we’re gonna have billion dollar contracts..

thats why I want him playing & practicing as much as possible (with in reason) this preseason.
He hasnt played in a while. Let him kick the rust off where it wont matter. Learn quicker from mistakes, than never making them. Also lets hope some of these plays are just good plays from DBs. That would be a new thing for Cowboy fans to cheer about.
I dont look at your post as a negative.

I see....... Our Leader putting in work!
