yes. Any all nba team

so no one was hurt by this center discussion

Well, some guys got left off 3rd team because there were too many guards.

So while this exact discussion may not have impacted somebody’s contract, the general concept sure does.

And it needs to change

Maybe Boston really likes Moses Brown?

I guess that is the only explanation that makes sense.

that is basically it

Maybe bob and tt are getting traded to fill another hole

Wouldn’t be crazy to think Boston might consider trading Horford too

Only because the ballot is stuck on 1 center.

If it were positionless, Embiid would be 1st team.

All rookie 1st team is nothing but point guards and wings. This isn’t so hard. The 5 players who had the best individual seasons should be first team. If that is 5 guards or 5 centers, so be it.

After all, player contracts are tied to all NBA incentives. So it really is foolish to tie that to an antiquated concept of position that really doesn’t matter anymore.

Yeah, they need to make it the 5 best players regardless of position. They also need to quit tying contracts to individual awards that players don't really have any control over.

I mentioned that in the Celtics thread. I was wondering if they can turn around and trade him? Or do they need to keep him for a certain amount of time?

I know of at least 1 team out west that would likely be interested.

And who knows maybe the Thunder will trade Walker for 15 draft picks and a new washing machine

At the rate they're going, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Pretty soon we're gonna have a draft where Adam Silver goes to the podium and says: "and with the 1st through 32nd picks...the Oklahoma City Thunder select the following players..."

Thunder have at least a chance of getting 2 of the top 5 picks in this draft. We only get the Rockets pick if they get No 5 but there is actually a 50 percent chance of that happening.

Thunder will do it right.

They will keep him for a year, make him a focal point, then deal him for some decent assets when he is expiring before next season.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure they can trade him at least as soon as their deal with OKC is finalized.

It is free agent signees who can’t be dealt right away.
