Julio goes to a contender. If Derrick Henry's body can hold up then the Titans are looking like one of the 3 best teams in the league at worst.

Who could seriously contend in the Free Julio Sweepstakes? Let's break it down:

Titans: WR A.J. Brown's recruiting pitch was cute – though he's apparently unwilling to surrender Jones' familiar No. 11 jersey. And, per reports, Tennessee is among the most interested teams. But, like Baltimore, this isn't an offense where Jones is likely to see his usual volume of touches given how much RB Derrick Henry totes the rock. Far more topical, Henry, QB Ryan Tannehill and/or others would need to restructure their deals for a team that doesn't even have $3.5 million banked.

Common knowledge Russell Wilson is a great deep ball thrower, this is news to you?
You don't remember what you typed? You said he's the best. He isn't the best, but he's still very good.

Probably makes the Titans a lock for the playoffs but they aren't winning anything beyond that with their defense

Titans drafted 2 WR projects. Those are probably wasted draft picks.
They just gave up 2 of next years draft picks while their weakness is their bottom 5 defense.
I see Titans making playoffs this year but windows start closing next year.....

Maybe.

I do think Caleb Farley has the highest upside of any defensive player in the NFL draft 2021 and Elijah Molden was one of the top slot CBs coming out. I don't think its crazy that they hit on both picks, roll in the easiest division in the NFL and get the #1 seed and are set for a few years.

Farley could totally flame out, though. Back problems end careers.

I'm pretty happy with this as Titans fan. Falcons wanted a 1st round pick for Jones and we got it down to a 2nd next year and 4th in 2023. For Julio, I'd take that deal all day long. Their biggest problem is still defense which could stop shit last year so we'll see if some of the moves made this offseason help out some (Bud Dupree, Denico Autry, drafted Farley and Molden etc), but for the other side of the ball, its a great deal. It'll help alleviate the losses of Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis. Because before this trade, that passing game was gonna be one dimensional with just AJ Brown out there. Josh Reynolds is a decent piece, but he's not good enough to where coverages have to respect a great deal. You gotta pay attention to Julio.
