A mid-late 2nd round QB who was the 5th QB selected rated "pretty low"? weird as most of this type are really successful.

wait...what?

Trask rated really high. Gardner Minshew rated high. There are undrafted QBs who rate high in his system. That doesn’t mean they will be good NFL QBs.

First I'm hearing of Minshew rating high. If you told others before he had success they can share. Guess we'll see about Trask. I did no research on him and don't think he'll amount to more than decent backup or middling starter. Guess we'll see.

To be clear, I am not projecting Trask will ever be a good starter. Just that he will probably outperform expectations if ever given an opportunity. And expectations aren’t that high.

I didn’t even know about Minshew until after he was starting.

I only ask about the big names because for most of the late drafted players it doesn’t even matter. There usually too much lacking from their games.

Clearly he has an agenda toward Baker and that's fine. Now it's possible the kid regresses, but the idea he will because he did with Freddie seems a bit out there. Baker has played as well or better than expected in every other season going back to OU but the Freddie Fiasco is the one he wants to hang his hat on?

I have an agenda towards Baker because I prefer ARod? Hahahahahahaha

agree it was about allen and might have scared me off (and I was wrong about him). Thought it was "one of" the top traits about Mahomes, not THE top trait.

also was the top trait of Russell, Boller, Leaf, akili Smith, Dan McGuire off the top of my head. I want to see smart and accurate as the top traits if it's a guy my team wants.

Allen scared me with his accuracy in college. But I'd have preferred him to Darnold. I saw the "ghosts" comment coming in college.

I really liked Eric Dungey at first (Syracuse), but the more I watched him lean into hits the more I realized he'll be lucky to even have a career long enough for anyone to give him a shot in the NFL. However many concussions later, he was a UDFA that has been on a few NFL rosters, an XFL roster, and now just signed with the Bengals last week, most likely as a camp arm.

In this discussion, yes, you have an agenda toward Baker based on your comments.

Is this a sign of the apocalypse?

Tomorrow it's supposed to be warmer back home than Las Vegas.

And I figured out a way for Johnny outta Football to get back in the NFL. The Browns can hire him to scrub the toilets at the stadium after games.

Pretty warm yesterday, too. Gotta say I could live without the heat. 60 and overcast everyday would be OK by me.

Not a fan of CO. Weather's nice most of the time. Great scenery. Gotta say some of the locals I've met are batshit crazy though, especially one of my neighbors. But being so close to the Rocky Mountains the barometric pressure changes do me no favors. I'm like my own weather machine. When changes are on the way I can always feel them before they get here. Didn't have to deal with this crap in the desert. I miss the Vegas Valley.

Yup. Unfortunately Summer will not be denied, and it's just around the corner...

Gotta tell ya a fucking dumbbell story. In the middle of winter when it's 20 degrees out some very special idiot locals will be running around in shorts. WTF is that? Then these same yo-yo's complain that it's too hot out when it's 75.

Can agree with you there, lol. I was perfectly happy with the 50s and 60s we had the last few weeks. Friday it was 90 and 80 in the house (no central air). Had to install the window units last night or there would've been no sleep.

@bksballer89 or anyone.....like any games/spreads/props today?

Ill post mine later here...
I was eye balling Jimmy Butler over 39.5 points assists and rebounds. Last year in the playoffs he was running between 44-47 on this metric and I expect more of the same here. His minutes will likely be up. My only concern is if he plays more as a passer and passes up shots as he can do sometimes depending on how his team is getting played. Need at least a 20 point game for this to cash. Thoughts?

I’m also leaning over on Nets Celtics. I don’t think this is one of Stevens better defensive teams and the Nets don’t necessarily get stops either.
