No I believe each will get the same averaged number of ping pong balls based on how many spots there is a tie for. Same as how they break ties for prize money in golf tournaments.

Right....that is what they will do for the actual lottery to see who gets picks 1-4.

But they have to assign each a position still. As mentioned, pick 2 can be no lower than 6, 3rd no lower than 7th, etc.

I believe it will be a series of coin flips to determine draft position for any that don’t get one of the 4 picks determined by the ping pong balls.

5 seasons ago the Sixers were 10-72 and now they’re on the precipice of being the number one seed. Tanking can absolutely work. The last thing you want to be in the NBA is a 4-8 seed. You won’t be able to get that thing over the top. You just wallow in perpetual mediocrity. This post is for all those Cavs Thunder TWolves etc... fans who are living the misery right now.

And, they totally blew their free agency window.

They had a chance to add a Max free agent and they ended up with Tobias Harris.

I'd like us back in 6th, but I don't know how realistic that is at this point. I think we could beat the Clippers, but that's predicated on our health. That ain't something we can rely on lately...

I want to make sure they have time for Lebron and AD to get their legs under them, mesh with the team and everyone adjusted to the change in rotation before playing the Clips.

Probably Magic just because he would run point.

Gun to head I probably go Bird with that group but I don't think he's a top 5 all time. He just fits better than some others.

The Nets will be lucky to get out of the East.

In the unlikely event that they do, their offensive capability might get them 2 games. The Lakers would destroy them in the paint and have the length and athleticism to give them trouble on the perimeter.

The Clips are the only team that concerns me at all.
