Miles behind?Kobe's game was the closest to MJ's. But even then he was still miles behind His Airness. Shows just how great # 23 really was.

Yeah, MJ was (co-) GOAT but Kobe was an all time great too. The distance between their skillsets and personalities isn't huge. MJ gets this kind of hagiography all the time, he was the greatest, yet he is treated like a literal god.Definitely not.

Vocabulary argument.Yep. Here are their career stats.
MJ: 30.1 ppg (best all time), 6.2 reb's, 5.3 asts, 2.3 stls / 49.7% FG / 10 scoring titles / 3x led league in stls / ROY / DPOY / 5x league MVP / 6x Finals MVP
Kobe: 25.0 ppg (# 13 all time), 5.2 rebs, 4.7 asts, 1.4 stls / 44.7% FG / 2 scoring titles / never led the league in stls / no ROY award / no DPOY award / one league MVP / 2 Finals mvp's
Kobe's the closest to MJ. But the numbers show it really isn't that close.

ROY isn't a fair comparison, as Kobe came straight from high school to a good team that didn't need to start him. Kobe edges in 3%, FT%. Many players since Jordan's time have been stiffed of MVPs by voter fatigue, with Kobe, Shaq, and Lebron being notables. Different eras to boot. Funny how Kobe was considered a shot hog, but Jordan averaged 3 more shots per game.Yep. Here are their career stats.

Bazemore is definitely a clown and I got nothing but respect for Bradley Beal for firing back. I'd actually be disappointed if he didn't. The volume of tweets though was a bit much, but that's just me being nitpicky about it. He could have easily just killed him in a tweet or two, but he kept firing off.
But keep Steph's name out of it though.
Could he have? Not like that chucker was passing up shots thoughKobe could have scored more easily. Obviously I take mj but it's not a cavern of difference
