Who said they don't count? Do the Lakers and Celtics not get to count their old ones?If titles you don't even remember count today the Browns should be starting their dynasty right about now, too.
I probably should have mentioned this before, but no they will not. Will the Cavs ever win another championship?
I mean, it's just facts. There are other teams that will never ever win a title either. Like the Sacramento Kings and Memphis Grizzlies.Okay just making sure. Might ask again in a few hours to make sure you didn't change your mind.
you seem to think titles - many of which you might not remember - will help GS win a title when you have to know they never, ever, ever will.Who said they don't count? Do the Lakers and Celtics not get to count their old ones?
Browns have a much greater chance of winning a title than the Cavs. Because the Cavs have no chance at all. Ever.
It's not past titles helping, it's just not being Cleveland.you seem to think titles - many of which you might not remember - will help GS win a title when you have to know they never, ever, ever will.
Agree Browns have a better shot and by your "rules" of past titles helping in future it should be coming soon, right?
well, you did mention GS's 6 total titles and long/storied history as a reason you thought they could win another one. I don't care if you make all the rules, but please make them and not move the goal posts. It's not past titles helping, it's just not being Cleveland.
ever? I'd say yes. Will I see it? On that I have my doubts. Will the Cavs ever win another championship?

Nice mini-run by your team might help us a little.Kind of a goofy argument. Obviously it's a harder climb for a team like Cleveland but ultimately it's getting lucky in the lotto and having a core come in around that. It's not likely they'd win a title but also not entirely impossible. Milwaukee has managed to attract their superstar to stay. As an example.
What goal posts? It doesn't matter how many titles GS wins in the coming decades. Might be 1, might be 7. All we can say for sure is Cleveland never will win another.well, you did mention GS's 6 total titles and long/storied history as a reason you thought they could win another one. I can. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and the Cavs will never win again. Basic facts.Like I just said to msg I can't say never.
It's just obvious to me.But there's a difference with the teams you mentioned. The Cavs already have a title. The Kings & Grizzlies don't. But to say they will never win another one, can't say that. That's a long time.
As to the Q at end, other than Love, not sure what vet is gonna push to get out that they'd even care if they lost. Prince only has a year left anyway. Nance's family is here. As for the young guys who are the core....if they are losing, aren't they a main reason they are losing? Even if the young guys want to go I cannot say I can think of many (any?) players who demanded a trade and had their wish granted while still in their rookie contract.
All that said, I suspect with just a little lottery luck, combined with the youngsters continuing to improve they can take a big leap next year. Anywhere from potential top 4-5 seed to playoff contender depending where they pick and who they get.
Then you need much more. You also need to attract at least one more major star to your city instead of the other, better cities with stars of their own. It's more than a little lottery luck. You need a high pick and that high pick to ACTUALLY become a star.

Never gonna happen again in Cleveland.
