I can fix anything. I can build anything. Literaly.
I was standing at a church bonfire with a friend (also very capable) and an older woman having a conversation about being able to do anything.
She pointed out "that's a real blessing" My friend silently nodded his head unsure of what to say.
After a moment of awkward silence, I replied, "It's "a curse" She was confused as my friend started chuckling.
I then pointed out, "when you can do everything, guess what you do?"
You end up doing everything!!!!!"
Yes. This.

My problem is three fold.
A) I am not very good at building or fixing a lot of stuff
B) I am a perfectionist.
C) I procrastinate because of A + B

I have some of that and early on I had fear I might break more than I fix.

I started small with a microwave wave shield that went for $60 bucks, but a generic one cost $5. I traced over the $5 one using a stiletto blade with the worn one and voila.

Then had a broken oven ignitor in my gas range. $60 for a replacement... The worst I could do was break that and lose my profits from the first job. Then a year later I replaced all the range top ignitors. That one I took on the chin a bit because a couple needed to be replaced because I broke the screws while trying to replace others.... I still was way ahead.

My best investment was a Dewalt tool set I bought at Costco for about $70. Without that I never would have done some things because buying a 1 use tools add to the cost and time for any project, only to lose that tool later, then need to buy it again.

As a 13 YO, my stepdad was a TV repairman. He took in a color TV that had water damage and sold client a new one.
I asked him if I could have it. He said no, It caught fire and it's too dangerous.
It was my job to handle junk so I gave it a try. In about 2 hoursI had it up and running in my bedroom.
Later thatweek he stopped by my room and saw TV with perfect picture and all - not happy.
He said not safe, I say he was pissed that I showed him up! What do you think?

You showed him up.

When I was 16 my sister brought a boy friend home from college. In front of him I went to use an old vacuum cleaner and it wouldn't turn on (it had no on/off, just plugged in to turn on) I opened it up with one of the three tools we had in the house (a screw driver). inside there was a switch that I logically concluded must be broken. I ripped out the switched and wrapped the wires together and went to plug it in. Boy friend chimes in "that won't work" about two seconds before the motor started... Again, there were almost no tools or other repair essentials in the house. The boy friend goes out to his car, brings in some electrical tapes, puts the screws back in and became the house hero for fixing the vacuum.

I hope he pushed the vacuum to your sister?

At 16 I worked in a 6 story underground high-security military telephone switching facility. It was where the trans-continental telephone lines came in across the pacific ocean. I had a bet with the Plant Manager of this multi-billion dollar facility that I coul get into this facility with a couple of hand tools. I won the bet and lost my job! Good life lesson.....

Basketball. Nobody would be able to hit outside of four feet so 10 guys would be huddled under the rim. There'd be endless clothes lines, guards biting the ankles of the bigs and refs unable to call anything. The only drawback would be the endless video reviews.
