Yes I am. A pocket passer is what I'm used to seeing and it seemed to work out well for the Pats.
The object of any team sport is to gather all the skills within the team, not one player. Otherwise, why not just line up big, fast, and reasonably elusive Cam behind a line and 5 tight ends? I'm not suggesting we use two QBs, one with accuracy and one with strength, but we don't need him to be a running machine. Call the right plays to set up ALL the team skill and good results will follow.

At the end of the day there is still 11 guys per side and only 1 ball.

In my case I don't usually get in the future "what if weeds". It doesn't interest me. I leave

I think we need a guy with the elite athleticism Tom Brady offered.

It's not likely that Mac Jones will replicate TB. But TB showed that execution at the QB level trumps top 10 arm strength and Elite athleticism. John Elway had both of those and won 2 SBs on the back of an MVP running back. Execution is Mac Jones strength. He was projected as high as 3 because of that, and that alone.
Well, I hope he delivers Bill and Robert and all the Fans at least two more Superbowls.

Yes. I feel Jones is the most NFL ready QB, he reads defenses well, has a quick release, is accurate with reasonable arm strength. The Pats offensive scheme is not set up to be a run and gun, part of why Cam looked so shitty. Our offense is a pocket based, read the defense, work through your reads, and get rid of the ball quick offense and Jones is best suited for the Pats game.
AND....use the running game to set up the play action.

So how do you see the division going down this year? I think we can agree the Jets are 4th, Bills 1st, so can the Pats take the #2 position?

I think the Patriots will surprise the division.

It'll be a dogfight for #1 between the Bills and Pats. The loser will be a Wild Card.

1. Patriots
2. Bills
3. Dolphins
4. Jets

I see it this way too, but it's giving Bill the benefit of any doubts based on his track records of over achieving and achieving when he is supposed to...

Beans. I make beans to die for.
People tell me they don't like beans - until they eat mine.....
Great beans are special most people put no effort into it.

Took a lot of failures to learn how to make great beans. Me anyways.....
That is exactly how cooking works, when I first started smoking meats I messed a lot of them up. Not people have certain requests for certain meats and sides. It's all about learning and relearning.

My mom used to make beans in a cast iron pot over a fire in the fireplace, I loved those darn beans.

Cole Slaw, unless the beans are special, then it's the special beans.

Then again, half assed cole slaw ain't worth much either... Really good sweet corn would trump the others..

I add fresh horseradish to my slaw to give it a kick

i make mine the old way. Soak 'em over night, cook them slow and low all day in molasses, brown sugar and spice. Zing 'em just a bit with hand ground red pepper.

Beans have such a bad rep and are truly the perfect food.
