BPA...Now you're talking.
It's a beautiful thing when BPA and need intersect and with our crappy play on all 3 levels on defense, basically any defensive player in the draft fills a need and DB for sure.
it is a beautiful way to go

I love that kid. Think he is the new style safety we see now making an impact in the league. I would take him in a second. Also like Richie Grant. Think both are first round talents but wouldn't be surprised if both are there
Richie Grant would be a good get as well! Some players you can just tell are playmakers.

what would you do if when #10 comes up and these are the next 10 names available:

Rashawn Slater OT
Christian Darrisaw OT
Kwity Paye Edge
Jayson Oweh Edge
Patrick Surtain II CB
Azeez Ojulari Edge
Samuel Cosmi OT
Jaycee Horn CB
Alex Leatherwood OT

Personally i go with Surtain or Horn but i don't any of them would be a bad choice

Slater or one of the two CB's.
Paye would be tempting

I'd check the options to trade back. If I don't love the options, I stick to my board and draft the best of these 4.

Slater and Surtain are the two best players there and also the two least likely to bust IMO. If we have them ranked pretty much the same, grab the Corner.

for the Pitts fans
Jerry Jones Reportedly “Infatuated” With 1 Player In 2021 Draft (msn.com)

I really dont want to trade up for a player in this draft.
What are your thoughts?
If it was a defensive stud that they love I have no problem moving up. For an offensive player, no. Stick to your board.

Plus I see Jerry like the type that goes so far out of their way to pretend that you aren't having a surprise party that it pretty much tells you that you definitely are. So I don't necessarily even believe the rumor

And with the Carolina trade for Darnold making it at least slightly less likely that they go QB, I'm starting to think maybe only 4 QBs go in the top 9 making all these other guys less likely top be there for us

I don't see one defensive STUD worth trading up for in this draft. If Dallas trades up it can only be offense. Either Pitts or Sewell.

That said, I wouldn't trade up for either.

Me neither, but it isn't our decision

Taking Pitts would be a Jerry move. Not a position of need, but a shiney new toy. I hope he does not do that. We really need defense and o-line help in this draft.
If Pitts falls to 10 then I would understand the pick. Jerry would do this. He is still having regrets about not drafting Moss. I really believe this to be fact.
It would be a major blunder to trade pick 75 to move up for any player, including Pitts.

I would not draft Pitts period. Too many other needs ImO. Now if he is there at 10 and someone wants him, give us thier 1+ and 2 twos, and they can have him, unless they are in the NFC east.

actually that is an interesting thought. a high profile player that allegedly should go in top 5 makes it to 10. Trading back a couple spots should possibly be in play. Be able to trade back in the 1st gain picks so you can make moves to trade back into the 1st (or so) using the extra picks here & there.

The same thing was said last year when CeeDee fell to us would you give him back. I would prefer Surtain or Horn but Pitts is a generational TE and it would be crazy to pass him

First off for the record I take Pitts and open a bottle of champagne but he isn't dropping.

Interesting way to phrase it, because If you pass on Pitts at 10 you pretty much guarantee he is going to an NFCE team
