The Zags offense has been unstoppable all year, but USC just didn't show up in the first half. They were a step slow, and sloppy with the ball.

I expect USC to come out throwing their bodies around like crazy in the second half but good luck digging out of a big hole against Gonzaga.

Not the same BS we get in CFB. You can basically lock in Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, and some random school for the cfb playoffs most years. The 4th team will likely be the 2nd best SEC team, or Oklahoma. Once in a blue Notre Dame or the Pac 12 champ may sneak in

College football playoff being the same teams doesn’t bother me as long as they get the best teams. But, they still definitely need to expand.

When Gonzaga went up 7-0, I didn't think too much of it. Especially when they came out and scored right after Enfield called timeout. Saw them do that several times this year. At one point in the first half, they were down about 20 and went on an 8-0 run and I thought okay, they're gonna get back in it now.

But when Gonzaga pushed the lead right back up to 20...I knew the game was over.

Yeah im more of a tourney guy. Cfb is much easier to watch. 100 total points in 40 minutes is pretty crappy

It's just hard watching the much worse skill level. I get the fun of the college passion but I'm over it. But I agree it's fun to see different teams in the tournament vs CFB with the same 3 every year in the final 4.

I don't care how good the defense is. 51-49 should never be the score after 40 minutes especially with a 30 second shot clock

You have never watched UVA play then.

A game where both teams are playing half court style can easily have a score like that and still be a good, well played game.

Yep. Offense attracts the casual fan and the more casual fans that are watching, the more money the leagues get. They know that us diehards are going to watch no matter what.

My wife is a perfect example, unless it's something along the lines of Lebron's chase down block in basketball or a big hit in football (that's probably a penalty now), she really has no interest in defense. If I'm watching a football game and it's a 45-42 type game...she's right there watching. If it's a 13-10 type game with great defense...she loses interest pretty quickly.

I hope all y'all fuckers are watching this epic Gonzaga UCLA game. This is as fun a college game as I can remember in a long time. Nice to see some playoff intensity in April, NBA not there yet
