The idea of Winston is starting to grow on me. He got his eyes fixed.no too high a price if he fails . i like marriota better
Dean where do you rank Sam, compared to Alex and Taylor? Also in comparison to Mac and Trey?
A team gave up a high first for his potential. He busted. Only a stupid team gives up a first again.
Why didn’t we get a first for Haskins? He had potential.
Darn old was on a bad team and he was a bad QB. He has potential, that is why you give up a third at most. Teams are calling because he is available. It doesn’t mean they are offering anything for him.
And the FA signing, trading for or drafting of 2nd n 3rd tier QBs every few years. While hoping a QB capable of being a legit NFL QB falls into your lap. Without having to take any risk will become this team's new norm. While fans worry and wring their hands out over which DT or DE or CB to re-sign and which ones to let go. Meanwhile Watson will be leading whichever team had the nuts n foresight to trade for him. Habitually deep into the playoffs after perhaps a few lean years with a couple less draft picks while still under 30 years old. It's clear to me that there are some here, who are too focused on getting some wins, when the goal has been and remains winning it all. None of those slugs do anything other than being an slight upgrade over what they currently have, and that isn't saying a lot! Honestly fellow posters, has it gotten to the point where satisfaction comes from making these small improvements?
Darnold should garner more than Haskins ever would. As the reason the Skins wouldn't have gotten shit for Haskins is because he started what? 6 games for the Skins. That was about 5 games too many. That's why the Skins couldn't have gotten a moldy grilled cheese sandwich for his behind. All that said. To hell with acquiring Darnold.lol. b/c haskins is a head case. I think he fetches more than a 3rd. I dont think Darnold is a bad QB.
I put Sam over all of them right now. Alex should retire. Cant trust Taylor to be the starter right now. But as a backup, yes. Mac looks like a safe QB. Trey, I dont he will be there when we pick.
the economics precludes it . i showed above what it does to the team and the cap and the effect of losing the draft picks . you just cant put together a package that would beat the competitors for his services without going full blow ricky williams for 2 draftsAnd the FA signing, trading for or drafting of 2nd n 3rd tier QBs every few years. You might've showed a possibility of what could happen. It didn't show a beyond a doubt certainty of what would happen.the economics precludes it . i showed above what it does to the team and the cap and the effect of losing the draft picks . you just cant put together a package that would beat the competitors for his services without going full blow ricky williams for 2 drafts
exactly whats in doubt ?You might've showed a possibility of what could happen. It didn't show a beyond a doubt certainty of what would happen.
