I really don’t know if having Brady this year would make much of a difference. He finished last year losing 4 of 6 games. The WR’s and TE’s have been lackluster again.

We really need a DL and or LB who can put constant pressure and finish plays with a sack. 1 sack and only 3 QB hits last night on almost 30 attempts doesn’t get it done. Winovich gets close in a lot of games.... but close isn’t cutting it. They need someone actually closing the deal. The teams sack leader(Chase W) has a whopping 3.5 sacks. That’s downright pathetic. Especially considering our Defensive backfield is pretty good and can cover WR’s. DL and LB’s need to be better.

Smarten up everyone. This year would be better and Brady isn't the same are not mutually exclusive. Brady seems to not be as good, but BK's comments hold water. Brady sucks compared to previous years and sucks far less than Cam.

It's possible our record would be a little bit better but I can't even be sure of that. We sucked down the stretch last year with Brady.

I still think Brady left because BB told him this years team was gonna blow so Brady left for greener pastures.

The "smarten up" was meant to be taken rhetorically and call out everyone as dumb. Brady would be completing so many of the passes Cam is missing and Brady would not be choosing to run into walls the way Cam has. Sure there are some plays Cam makes that Brady doesn't but I still think Brady is a big net improvement.

Yeah he would but the thing is... Would Brady throw it though, Cam actually (not well at all) throws it to Harry, Byrd and Meyers... Brady only threw it to Meyers and maybe on occasion to Byrd... Clearly Brady had no confidence in his receivers and I am starting to wonder if that has an effect on them at how poorly they are playing. I mean Harry actually made some catches and both Meyers and Byrd are coming on since Cam stepped in... Not saying at all that Cam made them better but a QB having confidence in them helps a lot...

Here's my point. Where Cam must rely on his legs to get something accomplished, Brady uses his head, experience and arm. He's not always doing exactly what he he intends, but his margin of error is much larger than Cam's. In comparison, cam's margin of error is razor thin and Brady's is 1/16th of an inch.

In the losses where Cam tried to run, Brady would have thrown and it would 50/50. Cam's runs were horrible because he always runs exactly the same way and not taking another step outside was the wrong decision. But it's almost automatic and therefore, doomed to fail.

AS far as throwing to Byrd andf harry, Brady would have no choice but throw to them or watch his stats look worse than cam's. The other thing is that Brady always had the ability to rally his WRs around him and make them look better.

Sadly, listening to BB today was not typical. This is the first time I ever can remember him saying, "if we hadn't jumped offsides, If that call was made, If Josh had made a different call". He sounded like a defeated man for the first time.

With Jules on the DL it would greatly increase my FF team points per game. I have James White on my bench.

In all seriousness I think Brady still would be worth at least two more wins with this current team. Say 8-5. Worse case 7-6.

At least he could hit a RB 5 yards away. Cam can't even do that. When he does complete it to a RB it's usually a lolipop and the RB gets dropped for a loss.

A terrible TB is better than a present day Cam.

Cam has grown on me since he's been here... but not as a starting QB. Honestly, I never knew much about the guy and saw his "antics" as a "me first" attitude. I see them now as just part of a "fun" quirky personality. But I want a real QB in our line up.

Cam does seem like a really good person.
By contrast, Brady was/is an asshole.
