Allen didn’t dominate bad defenses at any point this season.
I agree DH did nothing to hold onto the role, but is t it odd that he was the first QB replaced in the NFL?
I don't know if it's "odd," per se. I think there has to be more to the story than what we, the public, knows.
If DH isn't preparing the way RR wants him to - staying late, studying film, getting extra reps, etc - then that is clearly on DH.
All I know is that it is unlikely - based on what former players have said about RR - that the problem stems from any kind of lack of clear communication or understanding of what is expected on RR's part.
Isn't that all a player should want? Clear answers, high level of feedback, high level of expectations?
I would be that probably most of the people on this message board have had a boss at one point or another tell them that they aren't performing up to expectations, and need to do the following things better in order to continue to hold a job here, and most likely none of us heard that from an NFL coach.
Bonus if the information you heard from your boss was clearly delivered. It often isn't.
