To be fair, I do believe there lies a possible scenario where Kyle improves...like Breed mentioned earlier. It will be much easier to assess by the end of the season.

Same. there is no way DH beats the Rams and there is no way DH makes that comeback drive against the Giants.

There is a good possibility DH doesn’t need to make a comeback against the NYG because he probably wouldn’t have coughed the ball up. He also could have easily played better and put more points on the board prior to that point.

So even you admit, at worst, we would be in the exact same position today with DH...I think we would have one more win. So why did we make the change? Allen is 1-1 on the two easiest games on our schedule.

For the future of this season I believe and RR believes Allen gives us the best change to win. Give Allen a chance this season. If he fails role with DH for 2021. IMO I dont think we will be drafting top 10 this year and all the QB's would be gone.

DH doesn’t turn it over like Kyle Allen. Kyle Allen has 7 more interceptions and 5 more fumbles than DH the last two seasons. Kyle Allen lacks the excuse of three coaches and two offenses with a reduced offseason from an overreaction to a global pandemic.

The coaches and players wanted DH benched. Lets see how Allen handles it. If he fails you can gripe all you want.

Why is that odd? He had a new coach that had zero invested in him. But the longer he played and if he didn't pan out, he would've become RR's problem. If RR came to the conclusion that DH was not ready and would not be for the foreseeable future, then I can understand why RR did what he did.
