Exactly...just like MLB was when he declared "no way they finish the season".

Possible they don't? Sure. Not sure how many games or when but my guess is a SB gets played this season.
The Titans and Patriots better get their act together.

Agree, Dorsey's strong point was evaluating players but he wasn't that good at rating head coaches.
I'd say moreso than hiring he was better at rating players, but while he was decent in 2018 he was a disaster in 2019. Hard not to bring in some talent with picks 1, 4, 33, 35, 65, $100 mil+ in cap room and no bad contracts.

What I love with the new regime is they make moves without ego. Don't seem to care which regime brought a player in. If he can play they keep him. Dorsey let solid players go on rookie deals like Ogbah and Nassib who were not his. Traded Zeitler and Peppers (though to be fair, Teller acquisition has been great under new staff).

Only player I can think of the new regime let go they maybe should have kept was Carrie. and at time they let him go he had a $7.5 mil salary and was the 3-4th CB. Wish they could have got him to stay for less like Hubbard.

I disagree.
In what way? While I guess fair to say his biggest disaster in 2019 was hiring Freddie and not a player move, not sure what player move he made that really helped them last season.

The hiring of Freddie sealed his fate.

The trade for OBJ.
That helped them in 2019 (which was the year in question)? FYI, I did not mind the deal at all, but if they really wanted a WR they'd be better off having held onto Peppers and used their pick on DK Metcalf.

Just gonna mention that other than Baker's 0-5 start he and Justin Fields combine to complete 40-42 passes. The 2 incompletions were a drop in EZ and a spike.

I don't care who you are playing. That is damn impressive.

Hmmmmm...even that looks to be debatable. Hard to imagine they are better off without the guy but Baker looked like 2018 baker without OBJ.
OBJ isn't a team player.

It was at the time but hindsight is always 100%.
I'm not so sure. I certainly didn't hate it and thought it could be exciting at the time, but was not sure it was the no brainer many were saying it was.

That's why fans liked Dorsey, though.....because he thought like they did and cared more about name player and splash moves over fit.

You are in the minority as most folks thought this was a great signing at that time.

That's exactly what I said. I realize most fans loved it because fans like name players.
