Yes, it was. The moral of the story is, just because someone has a few injuries in a relatively short amount of time at the beginning of a career, that doesn't mean that will always be the case.

That was once thought to be the case with Pudge because he had gotten hurt a couple of years in a row just before we let him leave in free agency. The funny thing was that one of the injuries he suffered was due to a batter following through too much and hit him with the bat.

Not sold on Woodward just yet. Why would he make such statements when we are in a rebuild with the idea of building with young players. Choo as good as he has been has no future in a younger world. Woody needs to make sure which way he is going and stay with it.
